Just wondering, what the collective thought is, when one of your players on your team for the season has a team you are going up against during the season. Which of the following applies, if not both?

a.) The player should disclose that he has an interest on another team ahead of time

b.) The owner (and/or GMs) should go through the roster to determine if that is true?

A, and also block him from the forum for that game.

If the guy with a player on your team owns the other team you should know yourself imo, but he should say it too.

If he's a GM he should say beforehand definitely.

The forum access thing is probably right alot of the time, but is on a case by case basis.

I've been in a similar boat, mainly as an agent with a player or players on both teams and whilst I am a shining beacon of honesty and therefore probably not an ideal example I have never passed or used information from the other teams forum so I would naiively assume most ppl are the same.

At this stage we want to know who you're talking about though

Same here.

At one time I had players and GM'd for three teams in the same USA AAA conference.

Obviously, they all knew it and trusted me.

This IS a game...what kind of douche spies? Is it that important? Really?

I just found out yesterday, and the game happened beforehand. In our tactics we were quite specific on what our offensive sets would look like (inside runs, passing out of I formations, some rotations we would take advantage of) as well as a run stop defensive front. The game was in reverse, as they passed for 41 times, and also the mismatches were not there for the offense, and the rotations were completely different than the previous 3 games (as well as as run support in the middle).

I know I should be more diligent as the owner and OC, but never thought about it to be honest. You learn you lessons
