If the Cowboys have more wins than the Texans at the end of the regular season, I will not post in the APL forums in Season 13*. If the Texans have more wins than the Cowboys, you can not post in the APL forums in Season 13*. This was the other bet that I alluded to in my original wager.

Sounds good, if they have the same record then the bet is off...Does that sound cool?

The thread I confirmed with disappeared for some reason. Therefore, I am starting this thread. Please respond here for confirmation.

*I changed the season from 14 to 13. I was mistaken. I was thinking this was season 13. It should not make any difference, but confirm that you understand this.

Won't season 13 be over before the NFL regular season is over? That is why I thought season 14.....If you want we can do an avatar bet...Let me know.

This will end up being a close bet, Dallas has a pretty tough schedule to finish out.

Sort of. They still get Washington twice and Oakland once. The Texans have a more favorable schedule, but it's going to be hard to make up the 3 game lead that the Cowboys have.

Ok you are on...GL, I do expect you guys to either A-Quit by season 14, or B-Be in AAA, so we might see you there

Looking at the schedules, Dallas should go 4-4 from here on out. I expected them to lose last night, though. Houston should win 5 of their last 7. If we can slip up and beat Indy, that will give us 11 wins, which will beat Dallas if they finish like I think they will.

Houston 5-4
What I see, and no I am not betting on any of these games

TEN @ HOU -W

IND @ HOU -L

HOU @ JAC-W

SEA @ HOU -W

HOU @ STL -W

HOU @ MIA -L

NE @ HOU -L....So 9-7

Dallas now 6-2
DAL @ GB -W

WAS @ DAL-W

OAK @ DAL -W

DAL @ NYG -L

SD @ DAL-L

DAL @ NO -L

DAL @ WAS -W

PHI @ DAL -W

Dallas 11-5, also I don't think the Boys lose 3 in a row, so could finish 12-4, but 11-5 sounds right

TEN @ HOU -W - But this one scares me a little.

IND @ HOU -W - We will beat them in Houston.

HOU @ JAC-W

SEA @ HOU -W

HOU @ STL -W

HOU @ MIA -W

NE @ HOU -L

We could lose to both Indy and Tennessee, but I doubt it. Miami will not beat us. New England should beat us, but they may be resting starters at that point. If we split our next two, I see us finishing 10-6.

Dallas now 6-2
DAL @ GB -L

WAS @ DAL-W

OAK @ DAL -W

DAL @ NYG -L

SD @ DAL-L

DAL @ NO -L

DAL @ WAS -W

PHI @ DAL -W

Dallas will go 4-4 the rest of the way. Of course, they may be able to beat NY or SD, but Philly or Washington (don't laugh) could beat them.

The Packers will not beat them.....I have watched every Packers game...I said going into this year the Pack would be lucky to be 8-8....I have mucho bucks coming if that happens.......They are not even close to the same level as the Boys...But anything can happen

yeah, Packers aren't beating the Cowboys. The Packers aren't very good this year and Dallas pass rush will eat the Packer OL alive.

I don't see the Cowboys being able to win in Green Bay. They do not have enough leadership to win on the frozen tundra.

Have you watched Green Bay play? They could put me at LT and get better results. Aaron Rodgers is running for his life on every play (he still manages to do decently somehow; he's a pretty good QB). And they have zero run game as well.

Their secondary, which was kind of their strength, gets routinely torched.

The Cowboys aren't world beaters or anything, but Ware & co. will cause major problems for Green Bay. Hell , Tampa Bay sacked Rodgers 6 times last week. Before that, they had 11 sacks all season.. GB might set the record for sacks allowed this year. Their OL is so brutal I almost feel sorry for them.

agreed on GB. they've got a ton of talent at the skill positions, and by all accounts rodgers is one of the better qbs in the league. but their O-Line looks like a good team's practice squad and rodgers holds the ball too long. add that up and you get too many sacks and too many drives stymied by 2nd/3rd and long situations. that also hurts your defense indirectly.

dallas has looked very good lately, but they are a team that its hard to really trust. every time you think they're putting it together, they do something stupid like lose a game in green bay to a team with no offensive line. this just seems like one of those games that will go GB's way. they need a win badly, dallas is coming in over-confident...
