When a team loses a game by conceding over 255 points, that team becomes flagged as ineligible for stats for MVP purposes.

This is applied retroactively, so mid-season guttings are fixed, stat paddings are fixed, pretty much everything people are complaining about here is fixed.

MVP does. I'm not sure how accurate it is though. The other trophies are all purely stat-based

Wait so if MVP already takes into account blowouts, why does getting blown out by a bigger score matter at all?

I believe the complaints are mostly centered around the stat-leader trophies. As far as MVP goes, only Bort knows the exact formula for that one. It takes blowouts into account, but this is probably the biggest blowout in GLB history. His coding probably didn't anticipate anything like this.

could you imagine all the butthurt a change like this may cause?
If a team wins by 100 (just a number) it nulls all stats to MVP/Dot trophy race.

but could you imagine all the whining? stat whoring (actual not for the lulz type but in the lower leagues stat whoring) would actually be punished/penalized.

Stat leaders trophies mean precisely jack shit, they don't affect the game at all. Plus they're ALREADY decided by who can rack up most points on gutted opposition, so crying about how it cheapens them when they're already a useless indicator is plain dumb.

Well, it wouldn't. Because if ANY team goes over the threshold when playing the weak team, ALL games involving the weak team are removed from the final stats.

i meant head to head so the any/all would not apply.
