Myanmar extended their points lead and Tokyo and Tampa leapfrogged Saigon in the points battle. Other than that this was a quiet week in Naga.
1 Tampa Bay Heat 12-0-0 - Two hard games left against Myanmar and Tokyo on the road to an undefeated season.
2 Saigon Whores 11-1-0 - Trying to hang on to second and possibly a shot at first if Tampa gets upset along the way. Only Myanmar left on the schedule.
3 Tokyo Yakuza 11-1-0 - 2 Tough games left against Tampa and Danbury could have them at the top in a 3 way tie.
4 Myanmar Cyclones 11-1-0 - Still 3 tough teams to play in Tampa, Danbury and Saigon all in a row.
5 Danbury Demons 10-2-0 - Still hanging on for a possible 3rd or 4th place. Still have to play 2 big games in Myanmar and Tokyo which could decide their fate.
6 Saint-Georges Dragons 8-4-0 - The best they can hope for is 6th. Still 3 tough games left with Kukkiwon, Tokyo and Sopron. Pretty much locked up a playoff spot. They need to win against Kukkiwon and Sporon to hang on to 6th.
7 Kukkiwon Linerats 7-5-0 - Their win against Sopron helped their cause and most likely locked them into the playoffs. They can still finish 7th or 8th. They should root for Sainte Foy against the Dummies so they get 7th.
8 The Tackling Dummies 6-6-0 - Their out of Division loss really hurts. The winner of the Dummies vs Sainte Foy will decide who goes to the playoffs.
9 Sainte Foy Cyclones 5-7-0 -They need to win their game against The Tackling Dummies down the stretch.
10 Sopron Stars 4-8-0 - At this point I think they can only play spoiler. A close one against Kukkiwon shows they belong but they are officially out.
Games of the week
Myanmar @ Tampa - This is the game of the week. Myanmar finally gets a chance to prove themselves after flying under the radar most of the season. They have a tough stretch run. Tampa can take one step closer to an undefeated season and the 1st place finish with the win. I'll bet Saigon and Tokyo will be pulling for Myanmar so they can get back in the race for 1st. Tampa wins 35-10 but the game is closer than the score.
Saint Georges @ Tokyo - Tokyo has to keep things honest here, you never know if a few bonus tokens can skew the game in Saint Georges favor. Tokyo wins easy 75-13.
