We have several good games this week:
Crib Midgets vs Fat Kids:
*I'm just guessing, but I think the Fat Kids are now tanking and storing up some SP's. Knowing pretty much any way things work out they'd have to beat at least 2 of the 3 (GLB, FT, CM), it doesn't matter where they're seeded so they might as well prepare for the playoffs. Either way, this is still a match-up of upper tier teams.
Nahkoda vs GLB:
*Interesting game. With a loss to Irish and a win over Fat Kids, there is a good chance Nahkoda will be the 5th seed. Meaning if they win in the first round there is a good chance they'll have GLB waiting in the 2nd round. Do they go for the win, or do they hold back and wait for a possible playoff match-up?
Bama vs Cambodia:
*There are 5 teams fighting for the last 2 playoff spots in the west. If Cambodia loses this game, they're likely planning for next year.
Legal vs Irish:
*Irish are clearly favored here, but Legal is also fighting for a playoff spot. Do they step up their game?
Texas vs Bolts:
*Another match-up of teams fighting for one of the last 2 playoff spots. Bolts have an easier schedule than Texas after this game, so a win here would really boost their chances. Texas, though, is tough to figure out. Their lolbars are high, so they must have some talent. I'm still trying to decide if their coaches are really bad or if they're playing opossum and waiting for the playoffs to shock somebody. However, they'll need a few more wins just to make the playoffs and will need to beat some playoff teams to do so.
Georgia vs Hartford:
*Hartford doesn't have a real strong chance with Georgia being boosted, but this is a good game to gauge things prior to the playoffs.
Alligators vs Gabon:
*Gabon appears to have the upper hand, but they have avoided several of the top teams on the schedule thus far. Alligators have played all but Windhorst. Alligators will likely reach 10 wins with a win today for the 5th or 6th seed.
Windhorts vs Eugene:
*This is a very good match-up. It is very probable that this will determine the 3rd & 4th seeds for the playoffs. Would you rather face UFC or Georgia in the second round...does it matter? If no value is seen in achieving the 3rd seed over the 4th...will either team take their foot off the gas peddle, or do both go for bragging rights?
