2 upsets last week as Sterling beat Sahara in a game that was much closer than the score indicates. Walburg also pulled off the upset against Houston proving they have some fight in them still.

GAME OF THE WEEK
Quick Stop (8-0) @ LHC (8-0)
This is the biggest game of the season and will decide who's going to be the top team in Lion. Both teams have stout defenses and offenses that make you pay for your mistakes. LHC has a high-octane passing attack and Quick Stop has no problems pounding the rock down your throat. Going to be a great game regardless of the winner but I'm putting my money on Quick Stop. I think LHC has a little weakness on the OL that Quick Stop can exploit and that's the only edge I give them.

Sterling (7-1) @ Casablanca (2-6)
Sterling is riding the wave of momentum after the win against Sahara while Casablanca is just trying to ride out the next 4 games (3 games against top 4 teams) while hopefully picking up the win against Cairo. Sterling takes it easily as they wait out the next two games for their matchup against LHC.

Taipei (6-2) @ Detroit (0-8)
Taipei walks away with one early and Detroit will wait until next week to get their first win of the season.

Port Saint (6-2) @ Houston (5-3)
This should be a good matchup. On paper it looks close but Port Saints defense looks to be too much for Houston to handle. Houston needs this win after dropping the game with Walburg or they stand the risk of losing a playoff spot. Port Saint needs the win just as badly to keep pace with Taipei and Sahara for the 4th seed.

Sahara (6-2) @ Walburg (5-3)
Sahara is looking to bounce back against an up and down Walburg team. Sahara's only losses came against top ranked teams while Walburg has dropped a game to a 2 win team. Sahara should easily win here but it shouldn't be a blowout win.

Fat Jaws (4-4) @ Abbotsford (4-4)
Going by record alone you would think is a good matchup but the truth is that Fat Jaws has suffered from a brutal first half schedule having already played all the top 4 teams. Abbotsford schedule has been the exact opposite and the only teams they have beaten are all 0-2 win teams. Abbotsford has been under-performing and I see a quick drop in their standings with a brutal second half schedule that might yield them 2-3 wins at most the rest of the way. Fat Jaws walks away with it early.

G-Vegas (2-6) @ Cairo (1-7)
A bye week for the Pirates.

Durban (0-8) @ Bayou (2-6)
At this point in the season it's hard to determine if Bayou's upset of Walburg was a fluke or if Bayou just can't get it all in place yet. I'm going with a fluke win until they prove me wrong but they do get to run wild on the Donkeys this week and pile up some stats.

I'm looking forward to seeing who comes out on top for the LHC/Clerks game. That might be one of the few games I watch that my teams not in.

Clerks are tough. Gonna be a tough game for us. I think it will come down to who makes the fewest mistakes. Great write-up once again Ecrana.

Totally agree. Even 1 turnover can change the game.

Did not want to comment until the game was over and jinx it. Good call.
