The playoff picture is really starting to come together and we are starting to see who the contenders are and who the bottom feeders are.
The Freight Train are the only undefeated team in Alpha and are still on that win streak, which is now up to 45.
In Zeta there is the BIG showdown between the two 7-0 left and only one will come out on top.
The War Gods and Archangels meet up in what could be a preview of the Zeta championship game.
Either of you two teams have any last words before we turn you loose on each other?

I’m still looking in the ZGLB manual to see if calling on a deity or religion is legal, if it isn’t it could just be a 10 or 15 yard penalty.
I don’t think you will need any miracles to beat the Bombers.

It’s a good thing the game ran out of time or it might have turned into an upset. But I guess those prayers and hymn’s you sing must have gotten the Big Guy in the sky to throw down a minor miracle for you guys. I’m still looking in the ZGLB manual to see if calling on a deity or religion is legal, if it isn’t it could just be a 10 or 15 yard penalty.
I don’t think you will need any miracles to beat the Bombers.

#7 Tunguska Meteors (5-2) LW8 - Great win for you Meteors! You guys pulled that win out of nowhere! You guys scored 17 points in the 4th quarter to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat!

#8 Serbia Swarm (5-2) LW4 - The loss to the Archangels dropped you guys down 4 spots, so you need to get back to winning and climb your way back into the Top 4. The Reivers and Bishops won’t make it easy as you play them back to back.

#9 Kentucky Bootleggers (4-3) LW9 - I know what happened. You guys go up 19-6 over the Meteors into the 4th quarter and started celebrating with the home brew too early and then the Meteors end up with the win, 23-22. Not fun.
But the Pangs and Meltdown should raise your spirits and also raise your win total.

#10 Berlin Vikings (3-4) LW10 - Still holding at #10 are the Berlin Vikings. Put the last two losses out of your mind. You will need at least 8 wins to make the playoffs and I only see three sure thing wins left on your schedule, which would give you 6 wins.
If you have any hopes of making a post season bid, you will need to start beating the stronger teams.

25/48 beers! – I know there are two pretty good match ups besides the GOW, but let’s be real for a tic. All eyes are on the GOW this week.
The Meteors take on the Wombats and the Reivers and Swarm duke it out this week, but it still doesn’t compare to the #2 Archangels fighting the #1 War Gods!
Both are undefeated and the entire league is waiting to see the outcome!
So drink 1 or 2 beers for each of the two other worthwhile games, but save the rest for the GOW.
