the Tigers refused to cover WR3 vs singleback all game. Until the 4rth Q, oddly enough

We figured we'd return the favor by not covering the TE or some of the other receivers all game either. Had to give the fans their moneys' worth in those expensive WL seats. The absurdity of the game helped digest the Bears unbelievable shitty performance yesterday

But with FG replays coming, XPs should become their own play, too - which means this extremely minor issue will fix itself in a season or so.

yah, but I think the point is that there isn't a desire to perfect the game at all. ffs, it's s12 already and we haven't gotten the rule book in line yet. We still don't kick off from the 20 after a safety. I think that the code for ball placement after a missed FG are still messed up. Of course, it makes no difference if the XP goes in OT or not, but in almost 2 years, you'd think we'd have fixed it by now.
