To the trolls - if you think particular threads are worthless, leave them alone. I'm sure we can all get along if you leave threads you hate alone. I thought this was worthwhile before it got derailed, so I'm reposting it.

8-0 last time out and here we go again.

1. Lincoln Navigators V 2. Haliblack Explosionaries. The Navs O continues to roll putting up 59 Points on Durham. Lincoln has scored at least 39 points in all 6 games this season. Lincoln's balance offense was leaning a bit toward the Pass this time out and Riverboat Gambler had a huge game. As Per Kada's prediction Tim Jackson Found the endzone twice. Over looked in their offensive fire works this season has been a solid effort on the defensive end from the Navigators. They have already tossed two shutouts in their first WL season.

Hali Picked up their fifth straight W with a solid win over Marblehead. This weeks mystery Explosionaire DC held the Longhorns to 242 total yards for the game. Rocketarm led the O with 2 TD tosses and Erxleben chipped in with 3 FG's

Lincoln wins 34-30

3. Monmouth Evil Monkeys V 14. Louisiana Screaming Pelicans. Monmouth bounced back from their first L of the season with a Big win over the Shockers. The Evil O led by Drago's 3 TD passes put up 587 total yards and 44 points. On the defensive side of the ball Monmouth's Bend don't break style worked to perfection, holding the high powered shocker O to a season low 14 Points.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=878617&pbp_id=6986953

LSP lost another tough one. A 6 point loss in week 6 followed a one point week 5 loss. The LSP O has been OK but their Defense is killing them.

Evil Monkeys win 45-14

4. Mayan Prophecy V 12. Belfast Commandos. Mayan Continued to roll against an easy opening schedule. 6-0 is 6-0 so you have to give them credit for beating the teams that they have played so far. The Mayan D has been outstanding lately, having only given up 1 touchdown in the last 3 games.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=878602&pbp_id=6986020

Belfast is on a two game winning streak and seems to have worked out some of their offensive issues. It's going to be tough for them to score on this tough Mayan squad though.

Mayan wins 31-10

5. Cincinnati Shockers V 9. Marblehead Longhorns. The Shockers D didn't come to play against Monmouth and it cost them big time. On the offensive side their short passing game moved the ball but could only find the endzone twice and while Orangeblood went over 100 he was far from his dominant self.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=878617&pbp_id=6986561

The Longhorns D did a solid job in controlling the BEAST backs on Hali, but their O let them down. You aren't going to beat Hali scoring only 1 TD, Trust me on this one.

Shockers win 31-17

6. Korb Destroyers V 10. Durham Ice Odyssey. Korb Picked up their 3rd W in their last four games by beating down BFM. Not much to say about a win over a team that has a PUNTER listed among it's top threats

Durham got smacked around by the Navs...that is all

Korb wins 28-20

7. Angola Spider Monkeys V 8. Singapore Flames. The Spider Monkey O was shut down totally in their loss to the Prophecy. That Combined with their inability to stop the Mayan running attack and it wasn't pretty.

The Flames won an exciting one over Sofia. A 22 yard TD toss with 3 seconds left finished off the comeback win.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=878704&pbp_id=6994531

Singapore wins 24-20

11. So Cal BDC V 15. Pa Dong Dragons.

So Cal wins 28-10

13. Sofia Spiders V 16 BFM

Sofia wins 48-3

Is it possible to just take this thread at face value and not ruin it for people that want to talk about dots?

By responding to his post you started a chain reaction that you are responsible for now as well. If you don't like what you see then just move your eyes past it on to the next post and then it has no effect on you or your loved ones.

Both teams really seem to be moving around well and injuries don't appear to be an issue. If we can keep them out of the endzone, I like our chances. /coachspeak

We are approaching must win status for both Durham and Korb. I imagine to see a seriously gameplanned game here.

In our game against The Pelicans today we are just going to take it one play at a time and try to stay within ourselves. If everything breaks right, the good lord willing, we will pull out a well earned W and start getting ready for next week. There are no weeks off in this league.

Looks like at least one 7-9 team will be good enough to make the playoffs.

With 6 2-4 teams and Korb at 3-3 in the conference right now the Fight for the the final three playoff spots (and another year in the WL) is going to be intense. Korb can give themselves a nice Push toward that goal with a W today.

Could be...Looking at the top 5's remaining schedules, they are pretty well set to hold onto those spots and it should be just a matter of who gets the home games. After that the next 3 are going to be tough to sort out. Right now a Korb win would set them up with 4 W's BUT their remaining schedule is pretty freaking Brutal..I see at least 4 games that they will be big underdogs. So they are most likely looking at 8-8.

Durham's schedule looks pretty good - MEM and LIncoln are behind them, and Haliblack could throw the game. Korb may be a game up right now, but I think this may mean more than them than it does to Durham. If they lose today, they could likely have a 3 game skid with MEM and Lincoln on top of that. That's 8 losses without factoring in close games.
