Well, My Centres are only part-built, but the build went like this:

Max out Strength (to 48/49)
Max out Blocking (to 48/49)
Get Stamina to the mid 30s

Now comes the hard part. I have SAs, Vision, Agility, Speed and Confidence to increase. I think I'm going to attack vision next, while popping a a point or two into SAs each level and leaving my overnight training on Agility. But I'm not sure whether that would be best.

I'm also not sure whether I should have my equipment balanced across STR/BLK or simply to dump it all on one stat or the other.

With points in order
Strength
Blocking
Stamina

With training
Confidence
Agility
Vision
Speed

A little bit of speed and agility can help you get to the MLB after the NT is on the ground.

I'm still undecided as the the advantage of SAs.
My center is fairly heavy in SA, while my guard is fairly light. At the end of the season when their levels evened out they were performing fairly close to even.

As for equip, my C is mostly strength, while my G is split str/blk. I'll let you know if I see a significant difference.

I think using your equipment upgrades on your SA trees at each octave is an effective way to develop your C.

I think you need to focus using your skill points this way...
Strength (get to 50 as soon as you can then use equipment to boost this stat)
Blocking (get to 50 soon after strength and then use equipment to boost this stat)
Stamina (get to 30 quickly)
Agility (get it to 30 and you will be excellent blocking out "in space" against LBs)
Vision (get to 30)
Confidence (nice to have this at 30, both vision and confidence make sense since you are the "line general")

Speed is a good idea to train after these stats are up there, again for getting off the line and into the defensive backfield. Also helps some on kick and punt return blocking by engaging the opposing team farther downfield.

I would focus on 3 agility/2 vision per level. If you want to shuffle a SP into a SA once in a while, it wouldn't hurt. As for your equipment, if you decide to pump up one stat, make it strength.

Also, this is all just IMHO.

Neglecting Line General is epic fail. Line General lessens the need for confidence AND stamina throughout the offensive line.


Anyways. I have 60+ strength, 50+ blocking and 30+ stamina. Now I'm just looking to get my auxiliary stats up to par (vision, speed and agility), probably the 25-30 range, while beefing up my high end pass blocking abilities, most notably Line General, which is probably one of the best SA in the game. There's not much else that'll make five players better at the same time.

Guys just a question i have a level 10 C he seems to me to be an ok build,but does not seem to get a great deal of pankakes is this a normal situation for all C.

Pancaking is a pretty worthless stat that is mostly dependent on playing lower level players and a team that runs a lot.


If you're looking to just pancake though, the importance goes strength > blocking > pancake SA.

1st, you're a level 10 in Canadian Pro, the average defensive lineman you go up against is going to be higher level than you are, which leads to fewer pancakes.

Now for actual suggestions.

Dump the confidence boosting equip while it is still cheap to do so and replace it with strength boosting equip. Just use training to get confidence up to 20-25.

You already have more then enough sp invested into sa, for the next few levels dump all your points into strength (hit 50), block (hit 50) and stamina (hit 30)

You should see some level of improvement by then. However, as mentioned, your primary problem isn't your build; it's just that you are in a high level league.

I've had pretty good luck with my center so far. High str, high blocking, good stam and good vision.

I have quite a few of the SA's and made sure I had line general boosted to 5. Once I did that I noticed a lot of improvement from the overall O-line. we went from sputtering out in the late 3rd and 4th to holding our own the whole game. I did the same with my QB on offensive general and had similar response.

I think the 4 general abilities are highly underrated on how much they affect the team's total performance.

theres my build. im a level 15 backup right now. im not investing too much in line general yet because i play as much guard and tackle as i do center. just isnt worth it for me right now

I am a level 16 C with 22 stamina and I play 65 snaps a game and never get too tired to play, and we have high replacement numbers.

I have 4 in line general and over 55 in strength and blocking.

u should take off ur stamina equip and get it to str or blocking for now try to get str and blocking to 49 then get some SA
