According to NFL's definition, that is a fumble. The player made a football move (moving to avoid defenders), dodges a tackle, and then is hit and loses the football. Should have been a completion, then fumbled.

What a shock more bugs for bort to ignore.

They got rid of the "football move" vagueness. Now all the receiver has to do is:

1) Come down on both feet.
2) Have control of the ball.


Either way, yeah, it's a completion if you just go by the dots.

He must've done a Superman dive or something.

This has been happening since Bort first introduced the Jackhammer VA (I would be the house that that SS is equipped with it).

Hmm, maybe you should post this in the Bugs forum. Looks like a legit issue.

Maybe he was juggling the catch. So He "caught" it, but didnt have control.
