Good thing that this is a Tertiary Review... because there are 3 teams at the top of the Zeta Mountain.....
Samoa Flying Foxes - The Little Team that could is all grown up now and even though they lost to the Gunners, a after a big win over same Island rival, the Gangster,s and with the #3 Offense in O-Pro, The Foxes might not lose another game for the rest of the season. Good Luck Foxes!
Guadalcanal Gunners - This team is build around the run 3# Rushing Attack and the #4 Rush Defense. They are also the only team to beat the Foxes and the only team that controls their own destiny. If the Gunners can win out, and they have to play the 1-loss Jellybirds, they will have the home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Sydney Jellybirds - With 6 games to go the Jellybirds already need help, only a Foxes loss can open the door for the JBirds to earn the #1 seed. Otherwise #2 is the best they can do.... and they will have to beat the Gunners to earn that..... The JBirds have the best defense in O-Pro so don't count them out.....
The next two teams are going to be fighting for Home Field advantage in the playoffs but are not quite top tier yet....
Berlin Kreuzberg Red Stars - Solid on both sides of the ball with the #4 Offense and the #5 Defense the Red Stars only two losses come from teams above them on this list. If the Red Stars want to be talked about as one of the best in Zeta then they will have beat the Gunners in week 12. If not then they can fight the Gangsters for the best team in the 2nd tier.....
Samoa Gangsters - The Gangsters went 1-2 against the big 3 in Zeta and so find themselves on the outside looking in.... They need a lot of help but can still host a playoff game if they can take care of business against the Red Stars. For that to happen I believe their offense will have to come alive in the next 5 games 18th is just not going to cut it....
These 2 teams are solid and could surprise some....
Christchurch Knightmares - The Knightmares almost made it to the other side of the line but their 3 losses all come against teams above them. The Knightmares have a solid offense, 5th overall and 1st in passing, and played well in their losses but 5 losses is too many in Season 12 and you have not shown me your ready for the 2nd tier.
Vanuatu Volcanos - A week 1 loss may come back to haunt this team. However if they can take care of business against Christchurch and Sumatra then the Volcanos might have enough in them to surprise their opponent in the playoffs.... This team has the Defense to get it done.... but does it have the offense????
These next 4 teams are fighting for the last playoff spot.....
Perth Pirates - Solid Passing team, 6th Passing Offense and 2 Pass Defense the Pirates need to get their running game in motion.... 8-8 could miss the playoffs so the Pirates have to win 4 games to have a chance and 2 of them have to come from some tough teams, including a very hungry Bulldogs team.....
Sumatra Seahawks - I like this team but I don't see them going 3-3 or making the playoffs.... They have the toughest schedule remaining.... but they also have a strong Front Office and I know they will learn a lot from their rookie season and be a lot stronger in Season 13.....
Brisbane Bulldogs - Also a tough remaining schedule however the Bulldogs control the 8th seed destiny since they still play the Pirates... Brisbane needs to start a fire under their passing game if they really want to be in the playoffs this season....
Atlantis Lost Souls - While not technically out of the playoff hunt you need to beat the Foxes or the Jellybirds and have other teams lose as well.... maybe if you run the table you have a shot.... so your playoffs essentially start now!!!!

The Foxes are dominating both sides of the ball with the #2 Offense an the #1 Defense...If they can win 4 of the next 5 they could be the top contender in a very tough conference.
Samoa Gangsters - I think that the Gangsters were tired of being an afterthought in this conference. Tasmania and Guadalcanla captured the limelight last season and the Gangsters just let it happen. Obviously this season the Gansters have got their swagger back. Ompressive wins over Nottingham, and everyone's favorite Guadalcanal prove that this Samoa team is once again to be considered with the best teams in Zeta....
Berlin Kreuzberg Red Stars - Of the 5 teams tied for 2nd place in Zeta this is the one I know least about.... but they have some solid wins in this short season. They could easily go 4-1 in their next 5 games, which will set them up nice going into the final stretch.
Sydney Jellybirds - My OrangeBlood friends whose only loss was a defensive struggle with the Foxes.... The Jellybirds have to be happy with their position. They face two 1 loss teams in their next 5 games but I think they should take care of their business allowing them to make home field reservations for the playoffs.
Christchurch Knightmares - These guys know what it takes to be successful in O-Pro and they have been samrt enough not to give any of their opponents an opportunity to trip them up.With 3 tough games in their next 5, I think Christchurch has to go at least 3-2 to hold their position and earn the best of the visiting playoffs spots.....
Guadalcanal Gunners - Wow!... Only 1 loss but sitting in the #6 position. They were the team everyone though they would be until they ran into a Gangster team heel bent on earning their respect back. I would bet the one Gunners loss will be a wake up call to this team.... I would not be surprised if they won their next 5 games.....
Vanuatu Volcanoes - Tough loss to open the season and another one to the Jelly birds.... This team is already in a fight to make the playoffs and it doesn't get easier as they face both Samoa teams in the next 5 games.... If they can steal one of those games the last 1/3 of the season could have the Volcanoes sliding up to the 5th or 6th playoff spot.
Atlantis Lost Souls - This team is walking a tightrope. They played the Gunners very well in a loss but got blown out against the Seahawks. They need to go 3-2 in their next five games or they will be fighting for the last playoff spot. With the 20th offense and defense they need to do better.
Perth Pirates - The Pirates only have 2 wins in their first 5 games and might only win 2 more in their next five. The problem is those might also be the last 2 wins this team gets unless they don't start having the ball bounce their way. They offense has some spark being 13th in the league but they need to score more than 21 points in the Pros.
Sumatra Seahawks - This team intrigues me and I've had the opportunity to play them twice this season.... the defense has been Jeckyl & Hyde but might be one the right track. They face the Red Stars and Jellybirds in their next five games and need to win one of those games to have a hop of making the playoffs in their first year.....
Brisbane Bulldogs - This team is lost on offense without wins over the Zeta creampuffs they could be 0-5. This team has Parvo... There is plenty of time for the cure but they will have good games against the JellyBirds and Gunners if they would like just a little bit of respect around here.
Know Knightmares - This team seems to be on auto-pilot although there is some hope since they played well in their last two losses but the will need to go 4-1 in their next 5 games just for me to say the p-word in the same sentence with them.
Soloman Island Alchemy - WTF?!?!?.... You think you know a team, these guys have turned their Gold into Black Lead. The way they are playing right now just baffles me, the offense is pathetic. Someone need to light a fire under this team.
Guam Gorrilas - I should not even talk about you since you don't have a win.... but your owner is cool... at least you have that going for you.....
