Third Quarter
Molokai Lavastorm - Hit a speed-bump against the Gold Coast Vipers but there still #1 and deservedly so.... Lavastorm still has the #1 offense and so the road to the World League goes through Hawaii.... 4 tough games left will decide Molokai's fate......
N.M.I. Pagan Fire Eaters - This team had a small taste of 1st place this quarter but it was too much for them and they could not handle it.... They also have 4 tough games left.... If they take it 1 game at a time maybe they can keep hol of the #2 seed.....
An alBum Cover - I have like this team all season and felt they put up they best fight and now they are showing they have what it takes to host a playoff game in the Pros.... Solid on both sides of the ball... they almost get to chose weather they want to be the #3 or #4 seed since they still play Bohica.... Chose wisely!
Bay City Bohica - Thy have they easiest schedule remaining of any team talked about so far and appear to be in th drivers seat for the #3 seed if they can take care of business when they face An alBum Cover.... Plus with the number 2 passing attack their game with PFE should be something for the ages.....
Ester Island Head Hunters - Is this team good enough to sneak into home field advantage?... Yes!... but with Bikini Island coming on strong the Head Hunters will have to really Bring It! in order to do so..... but even if they stay at #5 they still have the talent to pull off the upset... I just don't know if they have the Front Office to make it happen....
Nottingham Hoods - I know this team has what it takes to win out the last 4 games but I wouldn't bet on it.... I think they'll drop one nobody expects.... maybe against the Maori or Bulldogs.... The Hoods have not put up very impressive stats but they didn't do that when they won it all in Season 10 either.... Watch out for the Hoods!!!!
Christchurch Fighting Maori - I thought this team would be hosting a playoff game or two and I guess its not without of the realm of possibility.... however if the Maori want to make some noise in the playoffs they need to shore up their defense.... 22nd is just not going to cut it!.... Even if they win out, without a better defensive plan they are just going to be fodder for a better team....
Gold Coast Vipers - You should call this team the Comeback Kids.... starting the season 1-4 I had them totally written off.... But with 3 impressive victories in the last 3 weeks the Vipers are not only in the playoff race, they are one of the scariest teams in Alpha right now if they beat PFE today then they could do a lot of damage come weeks 17-20....
Micronesia Megalodons - I thought this team was playoffs bound and its still possible however they have the toughest schedule remaining of any bubble team maybe if they can win 3 of the 4 they'll be in... but if they get in without a significant running game they won't advance into the 2nd round......
Bikini Island Atomic Surfers - I think this team has turned the corner.... its too late for Season 12 but if they finish strong in the last 4 games I think next season everyone will be spending extra time game planning against these radioactive wave riders.....
Auckland Old Gold & All Blacks - Oh how the mighty have fallen.... Auckland has just been plain mediocre this season... sure they might get to 8-8 but that just plain sucks for them..... they need a Front Office infusion bad.....
Fiji Ventures - I think if Fiji played PFE 16 times in a season they would be 12-4... I don't know why they can get up for the big games and just lay an egg against teams they should beat.... I don't think they know why either... maybe its their 24th ranked offense?!?!?
Taylor Bulldogs - This team had the best RB I have ever seen, Tony Carreno, 2 time MVP reduced to the 22nd Rushing attack in the league
.... The Bulldogs need more help in the Front Office. You can't have a 1 man Front Office in the Pros and this fact has stretched Daw1git beyond his limits... if this tam is going to be a factor next season they need to bring in some new Coaches.....'
Raving Mad Dogs - Not a great rookie season.... I'm not sure weather you guys need better coaches or better players so you might as well get both.... Good Luck in Season 13.....

Second Quarter
Molokai Lavastorm - With the #1 Offense and #1 Defense this is clearly the team to beat, will they lose before the week 15 match-up w/ PFE?...... ???? Micronesia?.... AnalBUM COver??.... if not, Molokai could easily win the rest of their games.
N.M.I. Pagan Fire Eaters - This team is scrappy an has heart... and if Molokai wasn't so Bad Ass a lot more people would be whispering the name, Fire Eaters..... We are not overlooking anyone and will spend extra time planning for Nottingham & Christchurch, (who we have never beat) and Bay City... before we even start thinking about the LavaSnore.....
BayCity Bohica - his team has to be for real, right?.... I mean they have solid wins over Nottingham and Fiji.... and they have the #2 Passing Offense and the #1 Defense against the pass.... Big test vs Molokai and Micronesia in the next quarter....
AnalBum Cover - This is my favorite of the Rookie teams and they are stepping into their own.... AnalBum is balanced on both sides on the ball.... not the best yet but strong enough to beat any team in Alpha and good enough to keep the #4 seed or maybe steal the #3 seed......
Christchurch Fighting Maori - I'm not going to lie, this team scares me, I've never beat them and after dropping their first two games the Maori seem to be back on track.... The next twos weeks will paint us a picture since they face AnalBum and PFE back to back.... A strong showing against those two will have Christchurch defending home field advantage the rest of the season.....
Nottingham Hoods - This team is on life support. What!... CinTex your Crazy!?!?! Maybe.... but if I just dropped down from the World League I would not be happy about a 5-3 record at the halfway mark.... 6th place in Alpha is not going to get you back to the World League. The Hoods need to wake up their passing game... With 3 tough games left on their schedule... if they can steal 2 of them they could go 7-1 in the second half and maybe slide into the homefield position.
Gold Coast Vipers - I guess the reports of the Vipers demise have been greatly exaggerated!.... Or Have they???? A 4 and 4 record is good enough for 6th or 11th place in Alpha right now and 3 of the next 4 games the Vipers face are against teams above them in this list. If they win 2 of those games they could make the playoffs....
Micronesia Megalodons - This team is going the wrong way dropping their last 2 in a row to the Hoods and Maori. If the Magalodons are going to take a step to the next level they are going to have to start beating some of the better teams in Alpha. They have a very tough schedule the last 5 games and they better win their next 3 in the even want a chance to make the playoffs.
Easter Island Head Hunters - Good News and Bad News.... the Bad news is the streak is over! The Head Hunters dropped 3 of their last 4... The Good News is they could still win 5 of their last 8 easy and if they pull off an upset or two then they could be a solid #5 seed for the playoffs..... Much Respect for what they accomplished before now....
Fiji Ventures - WFT?!?!? Do you guys only play good against the PFE???.... If you don't win your next 4 games I am personally going to rant in a thread about you!!! You guys could have been a home field playoff team but I think you just let that slip away over the past two weeks.... You control your own destiny... its there if you want it.....
Bikini Island Atomic Surfers - The 3rd of the 4-4 teams who are going backwards.... although it may not matter the next 4 games for the Surfers are brutal and if they will one of them I'll be impressed.... 8-8 is not going to get this team past the first round of the playoffs.... but it is a bad start to their Pro career either.
Taylor Bulldogs - This is my mystery team this season.... all the talent in the world and an Owner who wants to win more than anything... but they are just going in the wrong direction.... If they don't watch out they could lose 7 of their last 8.... Yikes!!!! This is a waste of the #6 offense....
Auckland Old Gold & All Blacks.... I hope turftoe is OK.... but backing out of the SEAPL challenge really hurt Oceania and you guys beating Fiji hurt me personally... so it seems you guys are only good this season for hurt.... You could go 4-4 over the last 8 but I don't think that will get you in the playoffs....
Raving mad Dawgs - The Dawgs have won their last two games.... Have they turned a corner beating 2 middle tier teams?.... or am I just giving Fiji and Taylor more credit than they deserve?.....
German Wilddogs & Hawaii Muskrats - win a game and I'll talk about you....
First Quarter
Molokai Lavastorm - These guys are playing like everyone thought they would.... Although 2 of their games look like gimmes, the other 2 were hard fought battles with the Lavastorm breaking on of the longest winning streaks in in Oceania and GLB..... Most people would say that Alpha is theirs to lose, but not Adonis, he is smarter than that. Two tough games for them in the next quarter but I think they will take care of business.
Pagan Fire Eaters - Quite Frankly I'm surprised that this team is 4-0 after their first 4 games... However their defense is playing lights out at the moment. Sure its only ranked 22nd in O-Pro but when the Fire eaters need to stop someone they do it. Also their new QB has stepped right in and not missed a beat.
These two teams could be 1A & 1B and if they take care of business they could lead up to one of the greatest Week 15 match-ups ever!...
Easter Island head Hunters - The streak has come to an end but the Head Hunters are making a fine adjustment to the Pro game. They have the #1 offense even though they are not putting up huge scores. However their next four games will really tell the story of this season if they are 6-2 at the halfway mark then the sky is the limit for this team....
Nottingham Hoods - This team is freaking me out!!!
They are 3-1 which I did expect and looks like they are trying hard to go right back to the World League. If it were not for a tough loss in week 1 this team might be ranked #1...... I know I'm not looking forward to playing them....
Bay City Bohica - This team is going to make me eat my pre-season ranking.... They have a quality win over Fiji and a quality loss against Easter Island. Their next four games are against teams without a winning record. Winning another 3 or the 4 would go a long ways towards secure a playoff spot.
AN ALbum Cover - This team is tough and right now I think they are the best of the new teams.... I can easily see them claiming the 4th Home Field Playoff spot. But first they have to take care of business against Fiji, Easter Island and Nottingham.
Taylor Bulldogs - Obviously I favor this team, but they are not playing with the same tenacity as the Bulldogs of old.... Owner Daw1git contracted the Swine Flu and it has had him off his game for the past week.... their next 4 opponents have a combined 4 wins.... The Bulldogs need to take care of business... The Playoffs are calling!
Christchurch Fighting Maori - This team is another big surprise to me.... 2 tough losses to open the season and 3 tough games in their next 4 will basically write the story of the Maori's season.... They need to win at least 2 of the next 4 in order to be able to have a fighting chance for the playoffs.....
Fiji Ventures - I like this team but they have been on a roller coaster ride so far this season... and the next 2-3 games could put them in a bind if they don't win at least 2 of those. They have a good defense but are floundering on offense. There is a real pile up of teams in the 6-10th spots and they are all going to be fighting each other in what should be great games for the rest of the season.
Bikini Island Atomic Surfers - This team could be dangerous..... sporting the 5th overall defense and the 13th ranked offense and 3 easy games in their next 4. The Surfers can easily assert themselves in the next quarter.
Micronesia Megalodons - This team is confusing me, after last season I was ready to count them as one of the teams to beat in Alpha, but their two wins have not really impressed and their loss to Fiji has me wondering if maybe I was to quick to put them in playoffs.... 25th Offense and 19th defense is not going to cut it....
Auckland Old Gold & All Blacks - OK if there was a 1-3 team I would be scared of facing its Auckland. I would say their schedule gets easier but when the ball is not bouncing your way there are no easy games on the schedule.... They can still become a force but they have to start yesterday!!!
Gold Coast Vipers - WTF?!?!?! The only thing I can think of that is hurting this team is that they are too complacent.... they did not make enough moves in the off-season to get better.... and if your not getting better then your getting worse...
German Wildogs, Raving Maddogs and West Canaan Coyotes... do I really even need to mention these teams, they need to win a game if they want to get talked about....
