4 down, 12 to go. Catastrophic losses by more than 100 points, that is.

But I have an OC hard at work, looking for some way to score a FG this season. That 3 points is his holy grail. I have told him it is hopeless, yet he persists. I am thinking that level of dedication (insanity really) is infectious, so maybe I will throw in a defensive gameplan or two, trying to hold someone below 100 points. Dare to dream!

Chug.

5 down, 11 to go.

I am impressed with the morale of the robots and kindergartners on the team, always staying at 100 despite the beatdowns. They are the kind of kids who are fed gruel and beaten daily, yet they always smile and give you the thumbs up. I am caught somewhere between enormous respect for them and desiring to pack them all up in a rail car and send them to a death camp.

Guzzle.

6 down, 10 to go.

We had some breakthroughs today, and these are encouraging to see. Our QB was hit on a play and did not immediately cough up the ball like a baby with colic. And of course he maintained his 100 morale - it probably could have gone up if that had been possible. Our starting FS fell to number 3 on the missed tackles list, down from number 2. There was even a case where our starting DE was not blocked out of a play like wheat straw in a gale. Great stuff.

7 down, 9 to go.

We managed to embarrass Roman today. No, not with football, they beat us down until the scoreboard flared out. No, it seems that they were put off by the serving of milk and cookies at halftime. But that is the only way to get our players to come out for the second half... at least until nap time.

(No drinking sound effect for this game, I have gone intravenous).

The thermally challenged Ants may have dented the Whiskeys' Countdown, but the Ether are still going strong - um, weak.

9 down, 7 to go.

Practice now consists of players running full-speed and jumping feet-first into a wood-chipper. It is the only thing coaches can think of that can (nearly) prepare them for an actual game. We go through more wood-chippers that way...

I dont get what your doing? Do you have players for next season somewhere else? I thought , prior to actually looking at your team, you had a full team just of lower levels...

It is a slow-build shell with a couple of players getting geeked up for cap-13. I considered requesting a move to cap-13, but why bother when the ticket prices are higher in AA and we are going to take repeated beatings anyway? Consider it like a big-top circus, except that people are getting chainsawed in the center ring for the glee of others.

Unbelievable, 4th and G from inches out. Quite a drive to win though.

11 down, 5 to go. A European tour of losses, just awaiting the final touches.

One of the agents on Rome pointed out this play which pretty much sums up the Ether offense:

Bet you've never seen that before. Hilarious.

Reminds me of my Browns.

12 down, 4 to go.

If you avoided the last two action-packed contests, here is what you have missed:

The entirety of Rome's widespread army marched methodically over our players, grinding them into the field. A legion of Praetorians finished the job with spike-shod boots.

Before the players could thoroughly unearth themselves from the turf, all of the Frenchmen in Canada double-timed it over them. Sadly, the players' morale is actually starting to waiver. By the end of the season, midfield suicides are not out of the question. The coaches are giddy with the prospect.

14 down, 2 to go. Yes, we are almost put completely out of our misery.

The Nunavut game proved that if you cannot find some good puffin to cook up, then Ether will do just fine, and moreover tastes just like chicken (or maybe puffin, I wouldn't know personally).

The limeys from Lowestroft did not even need to lower their nets for a full day's haul, and gutting us was surprisingly easy as well. Be sure to throw back the heads and spines to feed the sharks.
