I'll be honest... fellas, it was sounding great. But... I could've used a little more cowbell. So... let's take it again... and, Gene? Really explore the studio space this time.

Yeah no kidding. This PF-PA method has some serious weaknesses. The problem is that Purple Plainsmen have had the most ridiculously tough schedule on the west side, which really jacks up their numbers in my primary method. They've played (and lost to) AWW, Memorial Crusaders, and Barney's Bullet.

So without further ado! Rankings according to my other method!

So I guess I'll stick with this method for a while then. Time for AWW to flame because they're at #7 even though they've never allowed a single point all season, nor have they scored less than 70.

Pee Wee too high

I think you underestimate the power of sucktitude we've got in the lower half of the brackets. No offense to anyone, but there are a lot of teams that have even more CPU players than you, and inexperienced coaches to boot.

I'm not making up the numbers. Pee Wee has 5 positive points (4 wins over teams with combined 7 wins (+11), 3 losses to teams with combined 3 losses (-6)). No one below CLUTCH in the rankings is > 0.

If it makes you feel any better, the Purple Plainsmen (the spot just above you) have 10 points, so it's not like you're particularly close to passing them. Also, you've got the Crusaders, Barney's Bullet, and AWW in your next four games. So you'll have plenty of opportunities to pick up some losses there.

Not sure how AWW keeps dropping... not that it really means anything but we STILL have yet to surrender a point... and have the #1 defense and i believe the #2 offense. Yes we played SOME easy teams but when you say the PP have played a hard schedule.... they would have played the same teams either way so make those teams their final teams and they still lose them.

Cowbell too low IMO

Not to worry Jdog, I'm sure AWW will pick up a lot more points in either system as the season progresses. By the end of the season, the SoS will basically be a non-factor, because everybody in each division will have played 15 of the same opponents and only 1 different opponent (week 1). So assuming you keep your trend alive, you'll surely be at the top of at least our conference.

The next couple of games should really help shake out the best in the west. I think More Cowbell has pretty well cemented their spot at the top of the east with big wins over the Mountianeers and Horn Lake, unless something changes over there.

Should be some good playoffs this season anyway.

Well, Barney's Bullet has a pretty tough time coming up. We're due for three tough teams at the bottom of the season, but this is what we're looking forward to.

As I said after last game's snafu, I've converted to using the W + WW - (L + LL) method.

Big wins tonight by the STARS, More Cowbell,and TEAM CLUTCH. Only three undefeated teams left! AWW continues to deny their opponents a single point, but continue not to get much respect from the ranking committee. Or, you know, the spreadsheet.

Looking forward to playoffs already!

GG S.T.A.R.S.!!! I think our Defense fell asleep in the second half. I think if things stand as they are now, we'll meet in the Playoffs for a rematch.

Legends are underrated.

The great thing is that the Legends will have a chance to prove that with a win over the Mountianeers on Friday.
