this is the kind of GLB i love. any given sunday, anybody can win. that's when this game becomes fun. the silverbacks are proof positive how good this league is. we have two upsets so far, and we are glad to be 2-0 but know we could just as easily be 0-2.
i do guarantee this: no one will go undefeated this season.
there are very good OC and DC's here this season. those from Lion AA #3 were battle tested from seasons of playing tough teams like the 5 former AA #3 teams all in Africa Pro now. the AAA veterans are also battle tested from playing those same very tough teams the last few seasons. i can't speak for the AA's from elsewhere, but they look tough too.
outside of the rosetta stone bye week we all get, we don't get a week off. there isn't a single team here that can't play. some very good teams are going to have double digit losses and the playoffs will be epic. one bad, or even not as good as usual, game plan and it's a loss.
we are in uncharted waters right now with the season 1 guys all beginning to fade. how precipitous the effect of the drop will be is not known. i do know the gap is closing quicker between the lower levels and the tops.
last season, we circled games on the calender as big games. this year, that just can't happen. we want to beat our bigger rivals, like Eden, but i think i am going to have hate-respect for a lot of other teams at the end of this season.
i cannot even pick a conference favorite right now, nor a group of playoff teams. certain teams, like us and Eden, have 100 morale and others don't. by seasons end, FA pickups, players simply leveling up and morale getting higher changes the dynamics of the early season upstarts.
for us, we are good but not great. we are pretty out-leveled in almost every game. if we make the playoffs we will consider this a very successful season. if we finish 4th and get one home playoff game, it will be our super bowl.
what are your goals for your team or player?

here we sit in AAA. But after seeing Michigan get man handled with a solid team maybe AAA isnt bad after all LMAO!! Not that we dont want to be there but in reality we deserved to be there just as MaRawk feels as well.
