We had lost to this team for three or so seasons in a row, most of them blowouts (i.e. 3 - 40, 0-35). Then we played them in season 5 in the regular season and pulled off the a big upset win. The upset win caused a huge scandal in the SEA AA forums of what came to be known as the "TEMP gate scandal" in which the players (led by the Moderator Voltron) from SFGR accused us of all using the TEMP boosts prior to the game, and we "cheated" to win, the thread must have been 50+ pages long. We never boosted, in fact thought it was pointless in boosting because we figured we would lose to them anyway so we decided to hold off on the boosts. So then came the playoffs where you couldn't use the TEMP boosts and we beat them again and shoved it in their faces and proved to them that weren't lying. As the OC I saw a weakness in their defense, and it was Voltron's DE. His DE couldn't play the run for s***. The teams they played that year averaged about 2 yards rushing across their d-line until you reached Voltron's DE then the teams were averaging over 5 yards per run against his DE. So we had all the runs go right as his DE, played small ball with the hopes of controlling the clock and it worked. Funny thing is that team could never beat us afterward, they have lost to us every game since before disbanding.
