My CB always has a lot of PD but never seems to catch the ball. His catching is 43. Does anyone know how I can turn those PD into interceptions?

I think it's luck. Just keep trying to keep up with the receivers and hopefully the int's will come. Unless you have a good build and go to casuals or a weaker league then you could get more INT's

My build is below. I think its a good build. He can shut down receivers but he always deflects the ball instead of catching it. And I have seen CB with worse builds make way more interceptions than my guy. He has had 7 interceptions in 9 seasons.

I would say you need to improve Vision (helps the CB see the play develop earlier which might lead to better positioning on the field and thus more INT) and keep improving on catching.

Also make sure your individual tactics are set so you look for the INT, if you are very conservative on the settings it will be harder as your player will not risk the play.

An INT is a pretty big play therefore you have to risk some to win some
