Does Mentor apply to all players who play the same position or does it only apply if they are in the same depth chart (and same position)? example All LB's on the team of lower level or all playing LOLB?

I asked this earlier, and the consensus was that it was players of the same position, and has nothing to do with depth chart; though nobody really knows. 
Think about it this way though. If it were DC position, you could put your entire defense on the depth chart at your Mentor's position to reap the benefit for all players, so this is why I would think it has nothing to do with depth chart.

I believe it would be for all LBs, not all LOLB. If you have a LB with mentor all LBs created a year or more later will get the benefit, as long as the mentor LB is somewhere on the depth chart (doesn't matter where).
