All of the builds i see have Insane strength, with blocking then developed afterwards.

So has anyone like a C for Example tried

73 strength/77 blocking instead? Is there any evidence out that says Strength must be higher?

(for the Record I have 77.25 Strength and 81.25 blocking natural on my Lvl 24 Center)

I've experimented with 120 strength/90 blocking and 100 strength/110 blocking. The strength build was and is much more effective.

Part of it is that you can roll a higher initial STR than BLK when creating a new player. You can softcap and start building STR earlier than you can BLK, which results in a slightly better value to your automatic leveling gains.

I have heard varying opinions. It looks like a lot of "factors" are str and Agility. I haven't seen how blocking plays out.
I t would be nice to know paritcularly if Pancakes aren't really a goal, but just darn good protection for the QB and RBs

As noted, the tendency seems to be lots and lots of strength, and it looks like Zurai's data point confirms that

They are o-line men because they are strong...

All signs point to strength in my experience as well.

In my opinion, strength is more important than blocking. Also, o-line doesn't get a lot of good VA choices and Great Blocker still adds .5% to the attribute, so take advantage of it. That said, I still want my lineman to get blocking to 74, at all positions, but only after you have strength where u want it.

It's cuz you can train blocking and strength together cap strength the move to blocking and agility, there isnt really any other good pair for strength after that for a lineman.

they do different things. Strength doesn't do anything to keep a guy with shed blocks from getting around you and you need high blocking to stop him. But with low strength you can get shoved back pretty easily. I'd rather have them relatively equal for pass protecting, slightly higher strength for the 'get low' effect in run blocking.

imo B > S

both to 74 but B to 100 with eq the rest in str.

do you think that 68 blocking is enough for a right tackle or do i necessarily have to raise it to the 4th cap?

I raise strength and blocking to the 5th cap.

I'd probably do str/blk/agi all to the fourth cap, whatever you get to the fourth first will end up pretty high naturally.
