Figured I would throw these out there to start a different discussion. Opinion based only and really there is no method to this madness!

1) Doinitin Djibouti - Something tells me that DD's departure from the WPL was more to do with not having time to game plan and they are ready for a bounce back season. Let's hope the notes I took from my short stint as GM helps out the GRiTs!

2) Rhino's - Coming back from the WPL as well, Rhino's have a pissed off owner and agents to match. Rumor has it someone from the GRiTs planted a hooker on the Rhino express complete with crabs, happy scratching!

3) GRiTs - The loss to Dakar had more than a few questioning the mysterious element known only as the "Playoff Sim". The loss of KT hurts, but by far the best recruiting class in a long time will keep this team battling for the top spot. Are some to young, we shall see but I can tell you we are coming out swinging and looking to throw the first punch this season.

4) The Chad OchoCinco - One of the better run teams in APL, the C85 made a great playoff run in their first season in APL. Knowing some of their agents, they are not satisfied and are hungry for an APL title.

5) Somalia Pirates - While many thought the APL title went through Somalia, that was not the case as they fell out of the playoffs with the GRiTs in round 2. A wake up call perhaps, but IMO the least talked about 14-2 team comes back to make waves this season.

6) Sand Bagging Sea Wolves - despite their 0-2 start and rumors of gutting, the Sea Wolves represent a huge threat to the Rhino's this season. Finished the season 13-1 only to lose to the Kings in the playoffs.

7) Warrior Kings - No reason for them to be ranked behind the Wolves and these two really are the same to me. Boasting the longest two names in APL, I vote for a merger to have one team "Seychelles Island Sea Wolves Dar es Salaam Warrior Kings".

8) Boston Dogs - The team that put the "WOOF" in APL has a talented team that can beat anybody on any day and is a serious threat to take it all in the Elephant. Anybody that sleeps on these puppies is going to wake up with part of their ass missing. Can I get a WOOF WOOF!

9) Nairobi Warthogs - Coming back from the WPL, I can only ask, what the hell are you doing in Elephant? Get back to Lion and wreak some havoc on their side. Their 9th ranking has only to do with me knowing a little about them, but enough to know that they can beat anybody in APL so don't let the record fool you.

10) South African Ridgebacks - A great season to finish 13-3 but they showed that they need improvement after losing to ASM in the playoffs. This is a solid squad who can play with the best, now they are looking to be the best.

For everyone else, we play the game to see who is the best and these rankings mean little to nothing in the grand scheme of things so if I missed anybody don't get your panties in bunch. The season should start in the next 20 to 30 days so you will have more than enough time to prove me wrong! Looking forward to a great season, good luck everyone. Remember, get your votes into KT early and often, we want to see good write ups not crap like this one.

LOL, Sand Bagging Sea Wolves, nice. Good read. Thanks for the read. I know it's kinda boring around here since it's preseason and I'm not interested in fighting with Vegas.

We are all curious to see how we do this season. I think we could be a pretty strong playoff team, but this league is pretty tough. I think we are one of 3 or 4 teams who could surprise people this coming season. We have some work to do to get to the top, though.

BTW, I forgot...

Seychelles too high

Definitely a candidate to go 3-13 or less
