jk with player decline and a year to filter out some teams this should be amazing year

I am thinking some big upsets in the playoffs depending on how the decline hits. I think it's going to be more severe than most team owners here. I wouldn't want a declining player during the playoffs, but I guess you have to make the playoffs first.

It shouldn't be too bad this first year, if it was I would of never brought in/kept some of the early S1 guys I did. For example..I still expect these 3 to be nasty at the skill positions..

I think people are over estimating how much the decline will effect players.

For most s1 players, it'll be 2% at the beginning of the playoffs. This is 2% of base attributes. 2% of 75 (which is a pretty high number of a base attribute) is 1.5. Not a whole lot of difference between 73.5 and 75. Even at 5% (the maximum any player will hit this season), it's 3.75 loss. They have additional VA's because of their age to help make up for it.

It's as they get older (next season) that the decline will have a more dramatic effect, but I imagine most people will be retiring their s1 players at the end of this season.
