Oceania Pro Alpha Conference Championship
Auckland Old Gold and All Blacks @ Cascade Cajun Crushers
Auckland may have surprised a lot of people by making it this far. Early on this season it was very hard to tell how Auckland would end up, at the earliest of stages it looked as though they may be doomed for another season of disappointment but they quickly turned it around and made things happen. They may not be at the top of their game based on stats, but let me just say, they wouldn't be in the conference championship if they weren't playing top notch football. The question however becomes, can they put down the first loss of the season for CCC? CCC is ranked #3 nearly everywhere, except for 1 place, their rank in the Alpha Conference, where they are currently #1 and have to beat Auckland to retain that reality and move onto the League Championships. I guarantee, after the playoffs we remember all too well last season with CCC, they are not over looking Auckland, but I will say this... Can anyone really put down the mighty CCC or are they destined to carry on the great name of Alpha into the championships! No matter who wins this one, it should make for a great League Championship! Congratulations for making it this far CCC & Auckland, now it's time to put up or shut up!

Kingston Uprising @ Tasmania Tigers
Taz is ranked #1 Offensive, #2 Defensive, & #2 in Kick Returning. Several weeks ago, my biggest criticism of them was their pass defense, then ranked 19th, now ranked 6th. Kingston is by far no pushover. Ranked 2nd offensively and 4th defensively, with a #8 KR & #3 PR unit, Kingston may be the one team capable of putting the mighty Tigers to rest. These teams have faced adversity this season and they've stomped a mud hole in adversities chest.Folks this game looks to be action-packed start to finish. It could be uglier than Rosie O'Donnell in a Tutu..oh god.. anyway.. Folks the best two teams here by definition in Zeta, this is going to be one hell of a game. If you miss this..well...you just suck! Congratulations fella's on your achievements thus far, now make them count for something!

Though I worry that once again you're going to work your magic on us as we're 0-3 when you pick our game for a write-up this season. Was CCC so scared they brought you back?
. I could've picked another Alpha team to write about this week turf...but it wouldn't have been that interesting, since they wouldn't have been in the conference championship, lol.
