Well after an exciting 1st round all the winners prep for their 2nd round games, should be some interesting games again this week.

#1 GLB Headhunters vs. #4 Chevy Camaros
Well Chevy comes into this game after crushing California for the 2nd straight game. The Raiders poor defense coupled with Camaros all-star RB and powerful was really the big difference in the game. Not sure what replays the Raiders watched, but it didn't help them slow down, let alone stop the strong Camaro ground game. Camaros defense had a good game as well, limiting California to just 75 yards on the ground, but did give up almost 200yds through the air. If they're able to find a happy balance between stopping the run and limiting the passing game Chevy can be very dangerous.
GLB on the other hand had a some what easy 1st round taking on JcJ's again. The stats in this one look ugly for the top rated D in the league, but you have to take into account the backups getting a lot of PT in this one as it was over early. That being said they're have to step it up defending the pass or it will be a very long game again Chevy. On the offense side GLB really did anything they wanted. They put up big big yards running and passing, as well as a solid ST outing.
Keys to the Game: For GLB its going to be containing the Chevy stud HB. Limit his production and they have a good chance of winning this one. For Chevy its basically the same, "Too" Fast is going to need a huge day and their D is going to have to keep GLB's offense off the field.
Winner: GLB
#2 Marvelous Madmen vs. #3 Easy Eagles
Well Marvelous had a fairily easy game heading into their 2nd round game beating up on FOB. They just ran all over a suspect FOB defense early and often with very little stopping them. Now it's time for them to get serious again as they face a strong Eagles team again. They won by a decent margin last meeting, but I hope they don't expect to see the same level of effort out of Easy. I still don't think Easy showed everything they had last meeting and Madmen should come into the game expecting something more.
Well the Eagles too beat up on a rather soft team to get to the 2nd round. Scary thing looking at the game against Lismore is the amount of yards they gave up, and how few they were able to put up. I really hope they just had the same generic AI set as their last game with Madmen, or things could start looking very bleak. They're definitely a good team with a good stable of backs to lean on to get them some yards on the ground. They may want to think about throwing the ball here and there just as a change of pace from their ground pound. Their QB looks like he's definitely capable of throwing it, hopefully their receivers are just as capable of catching it.
Keys to the Game: This one, as most PW games, is who can do a better job on the ground on both sides of the ball. The one variable in this equation is who will be able to mix in an effective passing game as well as I think that could play a big hand in who has the advantage.
Winner: Madmen

#1 Spaniard Linces vs. #5 Manhattan Punishers
Spaniard is coming ff a good win against a pretty decent team for a #8. The defense didn't let Retards go any where on the ground, and limited them just as well through the air. The Linces offense was clicking on both sides of the ball as well as they were able to throw or run the ball very well all game. They also came into the playoffs with just about the entire roster freshly boosted. We'll see how much it helps an already good team.
Manhattan joins the 2nd round after a sleeper over the powerhouse O, now gutted ghost Creed. The game was good for Manhattan though as it rekindles a bit of their confidence after a tough finish to their regular season. If Manhattan wants a chance in this game, they're going to need to take a little of the work load off their QB and get some other players to step up. They tend to favor the ground game with very limited throwing incorporated in the game plan.
Keys to the Game:
Spaniards need to just keep doing what they've been doing, but not come in thinking this is a cake walk. Manhattan needs more production from more then just their QB.
Winner: Linces
#2 Tennessee Crabs vs. #6 The Autobots
Tennessee comes into this one after beating up on the unfortunate We Suck. That game may have been a bit closer if only poor Suck could control what the defense was doing actually. We saw them put up some points and yards on Crabs, granted I'm guessing some was an AI backups play thing. One thing I'd take a closer look at if I was Tennessee is the ST. Backups or not, giving up a KR TD has to be looked into. These guys are strong though, they have a better then average back with a QB who can run, and if need is able to throw the ball with some success.
Now for the Autobots and their some what shocking, if you haven't really looked at their team, win over Bay Area. Yes they may not be the best of the best, but they're no push over either. As they showed they can move the ball pretty well on offense. They have a few decent backs and some QB's that are more then capable of throwing if need be. The one weak spot I see for them is a defense that really hasn't found it's groove completely. They limited Bay's score, but still gave up some yards to a so-so offense. I really hope they put in some time planning and watching replays and give Crabs a good game. If they just leave the same AI setup as last game and say "this is good enough" this could get ugly.
Keys to the Game: Crabs defense needs to be prepared to stop both the run and pass this game as Autobots can be versatile. Their offense needs to control the ball and possesion. Autobots defense is going to really step up to contain the Crabs running attack and there offense is going to need to rely on the fact that they can be versatile.
Winner: Crabs
