So, some of you are asking, "what am I reading about with building new dots on day 40, and what is the deal with off season training?" I know you are, because after taking a break for a year, when I came back I sure was.

Here is the deal with slow building by building new dots on day 40: 1) You can boost your dots on the last day of the season while they are still zero days old. 2) During the offseason, your dots DO NOT AGE. So, if you build your dots on day 40, they stay 0 days old and level 4 for twenty-some days. That is important for slow builds, because 3) you can train your dots for twenty days without them aging,

It is like a free turbo boost for your players.

There, I finally explained to all of you what I was scratching my head about for two weeks. You're welcome.

Is this the best way to create new players and make sure they're at their best later on?

Kinda. Make on day 40, train until the last day of the offseason, boost to level 4 that night before rollover to the new season. This allows you to maximize your training at the best possible gains. If you really want to get tricky, based upon your training, you'll want to boost once, cap your main attribute and then boost the last two times. This is kind of more detail than you are probably looking for though.

There's some misnomers in here. First, slow-building is dead, unless you are a total moron. Second, training w/o aging is not all that relevant, because training value is related to attribute value, not player age. Third, if you wanted to "slow build" you sure as hell wouldn't boost to 4 until Day 47, which takes 7 days out of your (more like 16, not 20) day count.

Otherwise, W2G.

Could anyone point me to something more detailed than the OP for training?

What is the best training method for new players? When and which training upragde should we get for let's say a center?

You'll want to 4-way multi train almost asap.

Like as soon as I have the token? What about the training bonus? Get it ASAP for my 2nd attribute?

unlock the multi training first, then start enhancing the training. you can and should spend every bonus token for his first 2 seasons on upgrades and unlocks

I completely disagree with this. The first season you will be leveling faster than any other time, and therefore it is important to work on your first attribute as much as possible. Multi-training means working on that attribute only once every four days instead of doing it every day, which is why I prefer 30% enhanced normal training that very first attribute at least until it's up to 60.5 and possibly up to 68. At that point, I then switch over to multi-training, since I still have time to get up the second attribute before I finishing investing skill points in the first.

That's a valid option, but I think it's too extreme for most. I personally don't spend anywhere near that many bonus tokens on upgrades and unlocks.

A lot, actually. I expect that parts of the OP will need to be re-written.
