It would be nice. At the very least, have everyone get all 8s in their non-major/minors. That way you could still have some randomness in creation if Bort really wants that, but you don't have so many people rolling forever.

Pretty soon the number of active agents and players will decline and the re-roller clogging the sever will be a moot point.

Perhaps that's the plan. It sure would be nice for him to do something about the character creation system.

Is this still happening? If so, when?

Pretty late in on this one... I totally agree on letting players select where to put their points rather than doing a re-roll. The only purpose to a re-roll is to penalize people that dont use the re-roller script or are too lazy to take the time.

Make it cost more SPs on the initial player creation once you get to high numbers, and base it on position. So it would cost less for a G to get to get 20 STR than a WR/CB etc. This way you wont have people with identical builds across the board, because some people will choose specializing and others will choose balance to make better use of the total SPs.

Why not tie in the weight to the initial SPs? Make it a combo of stats, like STR STAM AGIL etc... basically depending on how you assign your initial player points determines what weight they are... after the agent chooses height.

Like, lets say I want a 6'4 WR, and his initial STR is 10 Stamina 10 Agility 16 Speed 20. He would have a weight of say 180.
I make another WR at 6'4 and his STR is 14 Stam 12 Agil 16 Speed 16 (more balanced) his weight would be 200. Obv the number would have to be worked on.

You and everyone else who makes a WR. It sounds good if you coould select where to put the points. But we might run into even more cookie cutter builds and very similar players. Would there be a WR under 6"4? Or a HB with under 20 speed? There would be more identical players than ever before. If you made a passing QB the ONLY attributes anyone would put SPs into would be throwing, vision, strength and maybe confidence. There would be thousands of QB clones. I like the idea of picking primary attributes. The rolling system isn't perfect by any means but placing SP's into attributes of your choice isn't the answer. Fixing the rolling system would be my idea. How that could be done I have no idea.

the reason you would make a WR shorter is cause they would weigh less... which means they are faster. taller means they can reach higher up for passes thrown over their head. everything has a trade off.
