It shouldn't be straight 8's though.

11s to primaries
10s to secondaries
8s to others

However, set the cap at 30 for max attribute value before going to assign sp.

That is all fine. I really just want this implemented. Let us pick height weight, and be done with the re roll. We get players exactly how we want as it is.

Unless its implemented before roll-over, the servers are going to shit tomorrow.

Could be bad news.

I just talked to Bort after seeing this thread. He mentioned it is something he's looked at and worked on, but it isn't done and probably cannot be finished by tomorrow due to other projects gong on also.

I will keep up on this though, and hopefully he'll decide to do something this off-season. No promise was made, though.

Problem is we have never decided on the final idea for choosing height/weight. If that is still rollable, people will roll 9000 times to get the ht/wt they want. If it's always random, people will retire/recreate over and over (which is even worse). If it costs some initial points to change from "average" everyone will just be average.

:o

Then people would just retire their player and try again after the first roll, raping the GLB servers.

Well what if they are on gutted teams and they are placed outside of there position

Less re-roll to get height/weight though. Most people will be looking for a small range and will only have to look at height/weight. It beats people rolling until the get the attributes + height/weight they want. Some may find a player with an acceptable height/weight 50 times before they find one with acceptable height/weight and attributes.

That's probably true.

I could put a selector of some sort I suppose:

Choose height range: (short/average/tall)
Choose weight range: (light/average/heavy)

And split the ranges into the bottom/middle/top 3rd.

That would make for less rolls too, most likely. I guess some people don't even really worry about ht/wt all that much, either.
