Well just 2 more games before we start the real season. Lets see what we have in store for us..
Madmen vs. Raiders - Well here's a great match up to get us started. A very good 1 loss Madmen facing a 2 loss but still solid Raiders. We'll start with the Madmen. This is going to be a good barometer for them as to what is going to happen next week against Easy. According to the numbers they have an advantage on both Off. and Def. over the Raiders. They're still led by a solid running game supported by a decent passing game. Their D hasn't given up more then 14 points to anyone besides GLB. Raiders on the other hand don't have as prolific of an Off. as Madmen, but have a just as stout Def. Their two loses come to GLB again, and Easy which Madmen face next week. Think this one is going to be rather close to be honest, and could really go either way as they're both well led teams. Think Madmen have a slight, almost unmeasurable edge.
Pick: Madmen 35 - Raiders 24
Linces vs. Punishers - Here is another lets see where they're at game. Linces have had a pretty easy ride since beating Creed then shutting out Bay Area. This is going to be their last real test before playoffs so we'll see what they can do. Punishers on the other hand are just getting into their schedule. Punishers are going to need to make a statement for themselves in this one that's for sure. So far every top 5 team in their conference they have played they've lost to. Their game with Crabs wasn't to bad, but it got a little ugly against Creed. They did put up some decent points on Creed, but who hasn't? This game they're facing a much much better D then they saw last week and are going to have to do something to break them down. Hate to pee in your Cheerios annil8tion because you are a good owner/guy, but just don't see it happening.(This is your fuel, prove me wrong!) ^^;
Pick: Linces 45 - Punishers 10
Crabs vs. Autobots - Well this isn't exactly a top-notch game, but Autobots have proven they're not an easy win if you don't put in some time or work. Crabs continue their tear thru the East after some early motivation. Autobots will be a good team with a little more time and experience, but they don't really stand to much of a chance in this one if Crabs actually try and put a gameplan together this week. You'll be set next season Autobots, just don't see it happening this season though.
Pick: Crabs 42 - Autobots 14
******** TOP 10 ********
------------------------
1. GLB Headhunters - Big shocker here, so far no one has been able to stop them and their CPU bashing continues for 2 more weeks.
2. Easy Eagles - Eagles hang on to their spot as well this week as they prepare for basically a battle for the #2 seed next week against Madmen, that's if Madmen can get by the Raiders..
3. Spaniard Linces - Still holding strong at #3, Linces have a good showcase game this week to show the West and the league what they bring to the table for playoffs. Looking forward to seeing how this goes for them.
4. Marvelous Madmen - They too hang on to their spot, but really have a rough finish to the season as they face both the Raiders then the Eagles. As long as they can win 1 of the 2 they have a good spot of no lower then the #3 spot for playoffs. Strap in boys, this is going to be a wild finish.
5. Tennessee Crabs - Crabs move up a spot in the East as they continue their solid finish to the season. They have 1 could-be game and a cakewalk. We'll see how they do.
6. California Raiders - The Raiders can really raise their stock as well as playoff seed with a win this week. They too have a rough finish with Madmen and Camaros incoming. Should be interesting.
7. Smyrna Creed - Looks like Creed is kind of back on track. As usual they're scoring a lot, but they are still giving up quite a few points, but an improvement atleast.
8. Chevy Camaros - Well Camaros move up a spot due to a Punisher pummeling to the hands of Creed. These guys are still working hard to get ready for the playoffs and can surprise anyone if given the chance.
9. Manhattan Punishers - Good team, and maybe 9 is a bit harsh with only 2 losses on their sheet. Until they prove they can beat a top team its hard to really move them anywhere. They get a chance to prove what they can do against some real teams again the next 2 weeks though.
10. Bay Area Lil Bastards - These guys are still kind of a head scratcher. They're good, don't get me wrong, just maybe inconsistent. They beat Creed, but have pretty bad loses to Madmen, Linces, and Crabs. They have flashes of potential, but also can disappear any game still. We'll see what happens when playoffs roll around.
