And yeah I think people who complain about other peoples good efforts are morons.

I never complained about anyone's efforts. I only told llok that I stopped paying attention to these rankings while ago because they don't mean anything. In regard to the game seeding teams for playoff rankings, they in fact have nothing to do with it. Surely your reading comprehension skills aren't that poor. How is that complaining about the OP efforts?

I shouldn't even respond to this but I will.

Obviously, forum activity is a key element to making this game enjoyable. When someone decides to devote the time to run a script and put up rankings each game, that should be appreciated. When you say "I stopped paying attention to that a long time ago", even though you said it to someone else, you are implying to the OP that his work is worthless. Is that so hard to see?

Of course they do not mean anything. The scripts were written because most people took offense to how they were ranked when people did them objectively. Somebody took the time to write a script. sure the formula's are not perfect but they are really just their as a conversation piece. Another point to remember is that despite RRR having the #1 off and Def they have done so against far weaker competition than what the top teams in the elephant conference are facing.

If I rank the top 10 objectively I rank them this way,

Niagara
RRR
Savana
Covington
Nile Crocs
Ivory Coast
Ethiopia
Suez
Quick stop
Uganda

I have 7 teams from the elephant conference in top ten. but really think that Uganda and Quick stop are just too close to really call. How much would that top ten mean? It is just my opinion and not really based on any facts. In truth Power rankings mean very little. They are a conversation piece and we all should be thankful that Banky takes the time out of his day to post them, whether they mean anything or not.

Thanks Banky for continuing to do what is really a thankless job.

All I've ever said was the script was messed up as there have been times where teams have had lower strength of schedule and a worse record or the same record as RRR, yet ranked higher than us. I could careless what we are ranked, as it has no effect on the outcome of the season, but I just want to inform Banky to update the script, get a new one or something, because this one has a serious flaw with it. If people want to get pissy about me informing people about a bug or a flaw, grow up.

UUUUUUUUMMMM, don't you think I would use another one it another one existed that was more accurate? This is the only one out there. To be honest, I much better things to do, so I am out. I will run the script for my own enjoyment, but I will not post it anymore.


It is just a game and some are really starting to take the fun out of it.
