And then there were 2... Wow what another good set of games. Just 7 games left for people to claim their playoffs spots so here we go again..
Eagles vs. Raiders - ****Top Game**** So here we go with a heavy weight fight of the West. Eagles are coming off a CPU week so should be well rest and have had plenty of time to plan for the Raiders. Not to mention they have the advantage of seeing how the Raiders just played another top West team to help even further. As for the Raiders, don't sleep on these guys. Damn good team with a solid D and a O that can move the ball on the ground or throwing and put points on the board. One thing I did notice though, whats with not punting? Unless you really don't trust your ST you give field position advantage to the other team leaving your D shorter fields to work with. Just a thought. Seeing how close Raiders played GLB, I see the Raiders hanging tough with Easy all game. Going on a hunch though and calling an upset here..

GLB vs. KnockOuts - Wow.. what a game last week. Props to Raiders and there players/coaches. Looks like GLB gets a CPU'ish team here for a nice off week while they're busy with their Tourney games.

Madmen vs. Llamas - Looks like a spitting contest here, some crazy, bound mofo's vs Llamas. Thankfully the Llamas are CPU and still don't get how it goes.
Pick: Madmen
Camaros vs. Crew - Nice stretch of easy wins for Chevy as they head down the final stretch. Just remember you still have a few important games left including a tough Raiders team.

Limpers vs. Hogz - Again, another couple easy CPU wins before Limpers have to face Madmen then Camaros. Take the time to do what you need to prep for these games, big seeding implications for you guys in those games.

Punishers vs. Scraton - Punishers are coming off a tough game where their undefeated season ended against a good Crabs team. Thankfully they'll have this week to recover and see a doctor about that mysterious itch they now have.

Linces vs. Bay Area - *** Top Game *** So.. here is the battle of the recent giant killers. Both of these teams have handed Creed back to back losses by very similar scores. They are definitely 2 very different teams though. Both have decent D's could be better which I'd think they'd agree with. Their O's however are much different. Bay likes to mix it up with some air game and ground pound, where as Linces aren't going to hide their game plan. They're running and its your job to stop or slow them down. Comparing the two from replays, I'd have to favor Linces a bit.

Crabs vs. Machine - So the Crabs come off a good win and continue their 7 game win streak coming into the game with Machine. Machine looked promising to begin with but have turned into a mid-table club and nothing more recently. Crabs do have to game plan, but nothing like previous games.

Creed vs. Supreme - Creed.. Creed.. Creed.. What's going on fellas? Give your DC a good kick in the ass and get back to where you should be. His first challenge, don't let some CPU score on you this week. Remember, small steps.

Autobots vs. Hurricanes - Autobots are looking to stay on the up and up and can easily do so against a very inexperienced Hurricanes team. Hurricanes are obviously just learning and testing things out.

1. GLB Headhunters(Western) (+1) - Well GLB knocked off one of the few remaining undefeated teams this week in a very good game to reach the top spot. Great game by the Raiders.
2. Easy Eagles(Western) (-1) - CPU week for Eagles as they prep for 2 tough games in a row. Next 2 weeks should decide who is Best in the West.
3. Spaniard Linces(Eastern) - Linces meet up with the other team that beat Creed to help clearify a confusing top of the Eastern Confernce.
4. California Raiders(Western) - Raiders, even with a loss don't move. They kept the game very close with a good team and just couldn't finish in the end. They face a good Eagles team, lets see if they can recover and get revenge for the 1 blemish on their record.
5. Marvelous Madmen(Western) - Madmen have quietly moved along and sit still with just 1 loss. Most of their real tests come towards the end of the season though.
6. Tennessee Crabs(Eastern)(+2) - With a solid win over a previously undefeated Punishers Crabs creep into the 6 spot showing again you can't judge them by their 2 early losses.
7. Bay Area Lil Bastards(Eastern)(+2) - Huge win this week for a good Bay Area team. They face another solid opponent in the "Giant Slayers" match up with Linces. We'll see which of these guys come out with a win.
8. Manhattan Punishers(Eastern) (-3) - Their first loss was definitely a tough one. Having a weak schedule seems to have taken its toll though as they drop in the ranks. Not sure if it was lack of planning or what, but Punishers will be looking to move back up as they have 4 good games remaining.
9. Chevy Camaros(Western)(+1) - Camaros keep chugging along and winning games. They have the potential to be much better then their 6-3 record shows and look to prove it as the season starts coming to an end.
10. Smyrna Creed(Eastern)(-3) - So Creed can put up the points, but their D looks like a bunch of old women with 50 pound purses on their shoulders. This team is truely a Jeckyl and Hyde. Their O is just a beast that no one has been able to slow yet. As for their D?! It just likes to hide. Maybe if it shows up for a game or 2 they'll fair better. If not, I see more of the same come playoffs.
