As expected, the projector was pretty accurate again this week. It called the outcome for all eight of the Eastern Conference games correctly...but the spreads were still off by quite a bit (just ask Queen City). In the Western Conference, the outcome was predicted correctly in seven out of eight contests...though, again, the spreads weren't quite on point.

Addressing the first point (pun intended)...in the Week 8 posting you were expected to amass 2,141 points on the season in large part due to this:

Why did your expected wins increase? Simple. In the Week 8 post it calculated you would score 472 points over your final eight games. In today's revision...it anticipates you'll score 675 points over the final eight games...an increase of 203 points. The close losses it predicted against the Kansas City Rams and Tradewest Battletoads are now both anticipated victories. Your lone loss is expected by a single point (24-25) against the Thunder Bay Bloodhounds in Week 11. Circle your calendar...Western Conference game of the year.

Part of your expected increase is due to your next opponent. Indy Horse!! threw in the towel and each subsequent week, more points are being scored against them. Tradewest has surrendered 56 & 51 points in successive weeks...that factors into the equation.

As far as points against, the same applies. You're expected to surrender three to Indy in your next game. If you shut them down, the points your expected to give up the rest of the way will also drop. Yet, if they manage a touchdown...you'll be expected to give up even more.

Picking the right winner is tough enough and it has that down well at least.

Somehow we gotta get FLGator's system working in Vegas. It's like what 75-5 predicting 80 games?

Man I would kill for a 14-2 record at the end of the season. If we even get close to that we'll have far exceeded expectations.
