I'm going to outline two different RTs, any stat I don't mention, assume they are identical. This is with equipment

Common: 60 SPD, 70 AGI, CONF 45

RT #1: 120 STR, 80 BLK, 50 VIS
SAs: 2-4-8-2-0, 3-5-4-6-20

RT #2: 94 STR, 96 BLK, 54 VIS
SAs: 4-6-2-2-0, 5-3-3-3-5

Who would you expect to do better at pass blocking? What makes that one stand out in your mind?

And id say RT #1, cause im a big fan of the foundation SA and 8 is much higher than 2. Plus i think he can get awa with alot more with his strength being so much higher as well.

Second guy. Blocking > Str to avoid sacks. So long as the OT has agi and speed to engage the block, the higher blocking skill you have the better you'll win those first rolls to hold the block.

RT #1

The foundation and shockblock mixed with high strength. Also Blocking does not seem to have any value this season.

Bingo.

WTF 20 pancakes, please tell me he sucks at pancakes despite that strength and I'll laugh so hard at the pancake SA

first guy because of better SA's, but I got a feeling it will be the second guy or you wouldn't have posted. Blocking undervalued by us or the sim? I am not convinced either way.
Was too lazy to check in depth but I assume these are from your pro team and the pancake guy looks to be starting

I have found that you can't be a real good pass blocker without foundation, no matter what other stats you have. But it's possible I just haven't seen the right build.

The second, the blocking is 16 points higher and the first SA in each tree does have a nice impact.

I've found the 120 STR doesn't have as much impact in the decision if the block is successful, but does impact whether it is a pancake. Trouble is you need more blocks for the pancake decisions to happen.
