Well, Season 2 is over and East Europe AA #4 has its champion: The Odessa Falcons! Congratulations to the Falcons. You guys had a heck of a season. Unfortunately, it only gets tougher from here as you're heading into the Lion's Den in one of the most fiercely competative leagues in GLB. Head on up to the AAA2 forums and introduce yourselves to the owners and players with whom you'll be competing.
As for the Stacks, you guys are a hell of a team. To start off the season at 1-2 and then knock off 16 straight opponents, one of whom had been undefeated until you showed up at their door, is quite the accomplishment. I have no doubts that as long as you continue doing what you're doing that you'll find yourselves getting promoted into the Pros sooner rather than later.
Looking ahead, the early favorites to go all the way next year have to be the Krakow Cows and the Warsaw Warriors. Both teams fell just short of Promotion this year and have all the pieces in place to reach that point in Season 3. On the flip side of that are several teams that are almost there, the London Head Hunters, the Tricity Hares, the Minsk Ninjas, and the Tallaght Outlaws to name but a few. Indeed, the competition will be fierce.
With Season 2 behind us and only the future to look forward to, I want to thank all of you for allowing me to be an outside observer of what goes on here in AA #4, and hope that you'll allow me to continue as such for the seasons to come.
Until next time,
Moontayle
