I can buy AE that gives my player a boost to line general... Is it worth it to do so and take Line General above 10? Or is 10 a cap and anything over it is wasted?

it's not wasted, think of it like this: for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, the bonus to stamina in morale is (this is totally hypothetical) 2%, 4%, 7%, 10, 14, 18, 23, 28, 34, 38.
The diminishing benefit that Bort implemented means that the 11th point is worth either as much as the 10th, 9th, or 8th point, not that it's worth nothing. So the bonus for 11 might be 42%, or 41%, the bonus at 12 might be 44, 43, or 42.

It's totally worth it, IMO. I have Line General to 16 (10 base, +1 custom gear, +5 AEQ) and have no complaints. Keeps our entire O-Line fresh pretty much the entire game. That said, there WILL be a point where more LG just isn't worth the price, but at least the first couple points past 10 are still worthwhile IMO.

My o-line is deep, so I've been fine with 8 line general + 10 natural leader. Until I see a dip in energy / morale, I'll leave it there.
