They got lucky since the owner of the team they faced in the 1st round had no available scrimmages left so they dodged a bullet there but it wont happen this time if Pain is not coming back, Gunners sent the challenge so my prediction is that the Gunners will go to the 3rd round (even though we know the Wolfpack would have beaten them)

Their first round opponent used up all their early scrimmage invites in a different tourney and could not send and therefor forfeit. While the WW would have bailed them out had dave been around, we were not obligated to according to the rules and therefore advanced with our AFK owner.

Just curious but how long does a team have to accept a challenge or get a game scheduled? Fwiw, my team has always scheduled our tournament scrims as quickly as possible.

I think there's some disparity here on getting games scheduled and the rule about having a slot open. My team may have had 3 scrimmages scheduled but we also finished our Round 1 game before most teams. I honestly didn't think having to wait an extra day after Round 2 was announced would be any different than if I were the lower seed and just didn't log on for a day or two, which seems perfectly reasonable to me. And also not a big deal compared to how long we week we waited between games anyway.

Are the two issues handled the same or are they separate issues? If they're separate can someone explain why to me?
