Not sure if we need more than one person doing these, but since it's a fairly easy spreadsheet load.....

These rankings are based on Strength of Record and not your Win/Loss Record (In other words if you beat the guy ranked above you they are still having a better season than you are... get over it). Based purely on how well you have done against given opponents vs. how everyone else has done against same opponents. This is still a work in progress so try not to get to bent out of shape with it. UPDATE: INCLUDES ALL PRE SEASON GAMES - Until week 5 when they are no longer used.

These rankings are bogus!! Funny how the team you GM for is ranked #2 overall and your strength of schedule is NO way stronger than ours already. I saw the two teams you beat. No offense, but both are scrub teams! We won our last game against a weak team, but our first game was against a VERY strong Mombasa Wombats team.

I usually don't speak up....I let our play on the field do the talking, but these rankings SUCK!! Can't wait till we play yall in a few games to see who the REAL deal is!!!

WOW..........These ranking don't account for strength of schedule. They account for record and scores versus common opponents, it usually takes a while for them shake out and fall into place. Going into this season there were 8 teams in our conference that have higher rankings overall, so for us to think we are the actual number 2 seed......well that would be a bit narrow minded. We know we are not the best team in this conference and that will most likely be revealed over the next few weeks. Apparently your team is the BEST and the REAL deal, so congrats on being able to have a discussion and keep things Fun in here.

tahl, most people appreciate some insight and feel it's fun to have some friendly banter on the rankings.........apparently not Texas Red Dragons though. GL Texas, it sounds like you won't be happy unless you are "Given" the number one ranking. In time the True number 1 will have "Earned" that ranking.

I'll never get over how seriously some folks take these rankings.

Couldn't have said it better myself. We should just appreciate that someone takes their own time to put a rankings sheet up.

Listen here butt munches!!! I am not asking anyone to give ANYTHING to me or my team. Al lI am saying is we need to stop with these BOGUS Power Rankings!!! If you know they are CRAP until at least game 6, then post them AFTER Game 6. Then it would be closer to being accurate and might actually mean something.

As I have said before....I usually don't say ANYTHING about these polls because my team has NEVER gotten the respect it deserves in ANY season....but we will let the "dots" play each other out there and see what the outcome is at the END of the season when it counts anyway.

I do appreciate people taking their "own time" to post stuff like this........but if you know it's going to be inaccurate when you post it, then I have to ask, WHY post it then?

Enough said.....I am sure I will here about this from all sides now. I've said my piece and will now go silent liek I do every season, and let yall fight in out in the forums, and we will see you on the field of "dots". If you beat us...CONGRATS!!!! If you don't, then shut the HELL up!!!!

If you dont like the Power Rankings cause your team isn't ranked how YOU think it should be then dont read the thread - simple as that. Yes, I agree that they're not accurate but some of us like the controversy it creates & gives us something to read or at least look at on this forum.
