Looks like this play should be a TD but I guess the player decided to dance instead. Any ideas?

Don't worry about trying to find an answer. The common response will be: "Well, turn down his elusiveness, idiot." God knows I've seen that response far too many times.

There is no excuse for shit like this happening.

I'd say vision - looks like he thinks he's going to get hit so he dances to try to get the defender to stop

Wish i knew, all my returners do the same thing. Don't think vision is causing the problem, all of them have plenty of vision.

We had 30 punts with 18 returns for TD's in our first game but any time the punter or someone else starts dribbling his way toward the return guy- even if he could easily just blow past them- will cause the return person to start dodging and dekeing trying to shake the guy or something. Sometimes they'll purposely not try to go forward and slam into the person edging his way over toward the return man.

We've fiddled with the elusiveness but doesn't seem to make any difference.

Like this play
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=740259&pbp_id=3854034 If he would have just run straight down the sideline, Rosario #8 doesn't look to have enough speed to have caught him, nor the punter whom he actually dives straight into.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=740259&pbp_id=3854478 Here's one where a guy who is pancaked and flailing around on his back down field scares him and makes him dodge a few times for no reason.

They don't seem to do this kind of thing as much on int's, though often there are not as many guys in the way.

I've seen some returners with very high agility/change direction do this and turn it into a juke of sorts. Maybe we just gotta get our agility and CD up higher for whatever he's trying to do to work successfully.

This is what gets me........ My guy can have a return like this where he just runs straight to the endzone.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1016230&pbp_id=678961

And then have one like this where he still has a clean path to the endzone yet he has a little hitch in his step....

and yes we're playing level ones, the competition doesn't matter I just wanna know why he's doing that

I've seen crazy returns of all kinds.

I've seen crazy returns of all kinds. This one is actually pretty tame in comparison. These, on the other hand, are awful:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=774007&pbp_id=4367261 (return man smacks into defender. Worst juke attempt I've ever seen.)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=856064&pbp_id=2546900 (return man probably could get a TD, but instead runs out of bounds)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=740084&pbp_id=10663124 (return man waits a LONG time for no return. What a pussy.)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=447211&pbp_id=588806 (entire ST's defense "shuts down." Allows TD.)

^ Granted, these plays are very rare and some may have been corrected by now, since some were +2 seasons old. Sidelines seem to give Bort a lot of trouble on GLB coding, similar to the HB elusiveness issues we've been seeing where the HB doesn't understand where the sideline is:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=917048&pbp_id=13828032 (this could have been a TD)

its the bort'ed sideline pathing. theres nothing you can do about it, it happens to all returners.
