I am looking for someone to come and be an ass't GM on my team and help me evaluate Player Builds. Looking for someone to tell me "this build is crap..get rid of him" ..."this build is really good, try to keep him around"..."This build is pretty good, but he needs to work on his blocking"...etc. I am looking for someone to coordinate builds with the individual agent...

If you are a "Build Guru"...please PM me!

I can be the "this build is crap" guy. If you can get a "good build" and "ok build" guy, maybe we can split the job!

(btw that was a joke)

Actually, Darren would probably be quite good at this. I second him for the "this build is crap" job!

You need coordinators that know how to build players... it's really their job to breakdown builds and suggest improvements, based on their scheme and/or the player's role. Good builds do not get good results if they're poorly utilized.

Plus, there's a lot of "experts" around, be careful who you find, some of these "experts" aren't all that knowledgeable. Some are stuck in the old days and refuse to adapt their strategies from season to season, meanwhile others are just stupid and have no clue what they're talking about.

You make such a compelling argument, that I have no idea where to begin...

A "build guru" probably has no clue what scheme the coordinators run, thus his advice might not always be best. For example, is scatback a good VA for a FB? It could be, if the OC passes to the FB. Is zone specialist a good VA for a MLB? It could be, if the MLB is used like the Chicago Bears use Brian Urlacher. Is a pass rushing LB a good build? Can be if a team runs a 3-4 defense, not so much if the team runs a 4-3 defense. Is a 100 speed, 80 agility, 40 strength and 50 tackling LB a good build? For a LOLB, not so much for a MLB or ROLB.

You see, player building is a lot more involved than just grading the efficiency in which someone abused the automatic leveling increases and whether or not someone is a moron, excessively spending on SAs or spending points on non-vital attributes... it doesn't take a genius to notice that kind of thing.

Providing decent build advice doesn't take a genius though either. You simply need a little guidance from the OC/DC about what they need and a bit of knowledge about the positions and the game.

However, if you aren't aware of the major/minor attributes and how slowbuilding works you can also give poor advice as well.

True, but if you're a coordinator, you should have a pretty good understanding of the game... thus it should fall on their shoulders to offer build advice to the players that they coordinate. Having a third party offer build advice just seems redundant to me, especially when it really is the coordinator's job.

That's if you want it to be the coordinator's job.

Your HB could use some more carrying
Also his agility could be higher by lvl 61
He has spent a few points to much into vision imo
He sould have spent the points needed to get vision from the 2nd to the 3rd cap into agility or carrying
But that's just my opinion - tell him to close his build !!!

Chipper Ironblane LB
Good tackling and strength for an LOLB
But I would prefer more speed and agility at this position
He sould 3rd cap vision, before he works on anything else - that is, if agility is not at the 3rd cap
Otherwise agility should go up first
I think, this guy will be able to force some fumbles for your team
If you want him to cover the TE or a speed/agility HB - well that could be his weakness - even with 11 in ball hawk
Oh - tell him to close his build !!!

Your SS could use better vision instead of high stamina, but he looks solid to me
Tell him to close his build !!!

Oh and say Hello to Forrest Gumpster
I've been his DC and HeadCoach in LA
He had a pretty amazing season for your team, after he left us

There is no "Build Guru". No such thing. You need to talk to the creator himself if you wanna figure out just what the hell you are doing. All of you think you all get along and has everything figured out. You put me in mind of community fish.

But when you start giving advice then you kill them off like minnows.

The only thing you can ask for is to find someone that has built many players to the best way they can accordingly equaled value for their money or talk to Bort for much better advice. It takes a journeyman to do that and there are plenty of journeymen in GLB if you have noticed, haha. I see them everywhere. I see ones that pretend to be a journeyman, like me. I do it to piss ppl off, but when it all comes out of the wash, me, you, and everyone else basically are the same. We know nothing about builds compared to Bort. He can make players that would leave these so-called good players in the dust. The more money you spend the more you can experiment and figure out. Thats common sense.

So grodnocobra, if you want excellent build advice so you don't go broke attempting to break the codes, then contact Bort and then MYABE he will tell you more but not all. Thats still better than listening to these guppies.

Thanks for reading. Later
