I've seen this happen a lot lately where a receiver falls as he is catching the ball and then he has to get up and start running again.

This in the particular play below, if my guy hadn't fallen, he might have been able to take it to the house.

So what causes this and what can be done to prevent it. I included my players build, now obviously I understand he is only a lvl 24 and he isn't complete yet, but is there anything that can be trained on to decrease this from happening as time goes on?

You said it happens often so I'd say it's a vision/carrying issue. Those two attributes apparently help you catch the ball in stride better. Like you said your player is still young so there's no reason to expect him to be complete yet especially at WR. Not even the best WR's in the game make in stride catches every time. It sure feels good when you do though

Your Corner never saw the ball Coming. Get your vision up. Vision is really important for passing coverage. And even more important the farther away the pass goes from the line of scrimmage. The corner literally never saw the ball coming. The only thing he saw was a wide receiver with a ball, then tackled him in the last few ticks.

He's talking about the WR, not the CB. But yeah, that corner could use more vision

Nobody thinks it might be a problem with the QB? Maybe the pass was thrown high or out of reach and your WR had to dive/fall to actually catch it. Just another possibility to consider IMO.

This is probably more true than anything.

Yeah, if the WR has to slow down for the QB throw, and probably dive for it a little bit, it'll be hard for him to get back up and elude defenders.
