This just coming out of Indianapolis, the Gurupies have been sold. Today the owner of the Gurupies, Kyle321N, stated that he reached an agreement with the JT Rail Cooperative. The principal owner of JT Rail, JTSerb, will now oversee daily operations of the Gurupies. JTSerb has asked that Kyle321N stay on as a Special Assistant to the Owner. The amount of the sale is undisclosed, but sources close to the team are speculating that the team was worth close to $500 million.

When reached for comment Kyle321N had this to say: "I'm glad to have been able to start up this team and get it to the point that is at today. I will continue to stay in the front office and be part of the daily operation of the team. As Special Assistant Owner..."
JTSerb then broke in and said "Special Assistant to the Owner"
Kyle321N continued his comments, "Same thing. I feel JTSerb will be a great owner and the Rail Coop offers something that I can't, money. They also are giving me a higher salary to be the Special Assistant Owner (in background JTSerb repeats "to the") than I could have made as the Owner."

This is shocking since the Gurupies play in the Eastern Conference Finals of the USA A#8 division. They won the Conference Semifinals against the #7 seeded Nashville Psychotic Smilies. The winner of this game will move on to the finals and next year be promoted to the USA AA #4 division. Their opponent for the game is the #5 seed Da Nola Brah!! K&B Purples, who knocked off the top seeded Chesapeake Roadrunners last week.

In other USA A #8 news, there's still a Western Conference, which was unbeknownst to this reporting service since there is no talk from either team. The two teams that play in the game are #1 seed Bloomington Rhinos and #3 seed Waller Knights.

LOL! We haven't been doing a lot of talking have we? I had a pretty busy weekend and I generally don't like to talk too much because sometimes it comes off as being arrogant. I think you'll see that the only reason I generally pipe up is to defend my team against pointless slander.

As for the game today, it should be a tough one for us. I like our chances, but none of the chickens have hatched yet so we're certainly not counting them. Waller is a tough team and we'd be very fortunate to come away from this one with a win.
