First of all, let me introduce myself. I'm a first time owner, but a GLB veteran since Season One. I've never payed for FP or ever boosted, and I never plan to. So I don't really expect you to either -- but if you want to come onto a team and boost and be a star player on a quality team, then, hey, I'll welcome you with open arms.
My goal in having this team in the first place is so that it could be the kind of team that is lacking all over GLB -- a cool team, a fun team. One with an active forum and active owners, and day-to-day action. I promise, if you sign a player to this team, you will never log onto GLB checking in on things and find that there is nothing to do. And also, this team ain't gonna slow down halfway through the season if we start losing. I promise you of that, because that's the most annoying thing ever to me.
So why did I make a PeeWee team? Well it's gotten to the point for me, personally, where I think that PeeWee might be the only chance for me to have fun in GLB. Once you get above that, especially above the 13 cap, it's all about this bullshit rebuilding, this bullshit financing, this bullshit league-swapping. I just want to keep it simple, play the game, and enjoy it.
But that's not to say that this is going to be some casually run, noncaring team. That couldn't be further from the truth. Like I said, I've been here since Season One, and have never paid for FP or boosted my players or had any kind of real success at all, and yet I'm still here. That's because I enjoy the game, and I enjoy being on fun teams. I love the game of football, and through the forums and whatever, I'm hoping we can try and build that football game atmosphere again -- something that can tend to slip the mind, what with all the joke player names and joke avatars and all that garbage floating around. I'm also real experienced with graphic arts and making icons and whatever and will be making a team website sometime to add to the experience.
Like I said before, this is my first time owning a team, so my team is your team. I'd love some GM help, as long as you've got a player to contribute to the team aswell. For new players, I promise you can learn alot and I promise I and our teammates can answer every single question you may have.
