BCP probably won't make it because we're lower level than most, if not all of these teams. We also probably have the worst record, though that's because we were in APL last season, severely underleveled.

Yes, builds>>>levels. But levels are a much more practical way, and more importantly, objective way, to assess a team. How is he supposed to have the time to evaluate the builds of all the players in nearly 100 teams? And then assess the gameplanning? And then NOT be accused of favoritism because Team Leftout says he's biased because he doesn't understand the teambuilding/gameplanning strategy? It would be impossible.

Using levels isn't perfectly accurate by any means, but it does allow him to set parameters for inclusion that everyone knows beforehand and allow verifiable objectivity in his decisions.

Oh, and records aren't that great at this stage either, because some teams that got promoted ran up those records against inferior AA competition. Who's to say a 12-4 team that was in AA last year is really better than a 9-7 team that played in AAA?

He's just trying to use as unbiased a selection process as possible.

so a 15-1 AA team with only 1 255-0 win should be discounted because they done average a LVL 55 roster?

sure lvl should be there somewhere but its over half of the vote

0-6 with the closest game being a 20 point loss to a team that also missed making the field...i'm not sure any strategy on your part would've been enough to overcome that.

I dont care if MY team specifically didnt make it because we dont gameplan for scrimmages and I didnt even know they counted torwards this

but when a team goes 15-1 and gets snubbed because of lvls its just aggravating

Levels are not an objective measurement of team quality, they're simply a numerical value. For instance, our team went 12-4 in the 3rd toughest AAA conference last season (the USAs would rank 1, 2), but we got left out due to half the team being slow-built when guys from our conference who went 5-11 somehow made it in.
