BTW, Not that it matters, but we use ATCT as the abreviation. The team used to be made up of guys from the user forum at tidesports.com.

The battle within the battle today was between the two best DLs in the Naga conference:

DT Thor Agility: 34 Plays, 5 Tkls, 3 sacks, 2 Hurries, 1 FFum
DE Mike Panzer: 51 Plays, 2 Tkl, 1 Tfl, 1 MsTk, 2 Pnkd

I think my stud DT Thor was a little upset he didn't get the def MVP award.

(There was also a battle bw two of the best Naga QBs, but that was more of a push).

Give it up to the Thai Tigers. We creamed them in the regular season and they beat us by 4 in the playoffs. I'm guessing they out game-planned us.

Your comparing apples to oranges. Your OL is a lot better than ours. Plus you guys have decent backups so Thor can get some rest on occasion.

Unfortunately that's the nature of the game (unfair comparisons). In a playoff game that involved two excellent players, they're going to compare how they play. In point of fact, Thor is only lvl 50 while Mike is lvl 60 so that's also unfair. Either way it was a great game, and you guys really stepped up for it. We were lucky to come away victorious. Good luck in the future, I'm sure we'll meet again (and Mike is always a hassle to deal with, fwiw)

On the "bright" side, Naga is going to be wide open next season, same as Garuda - both were somewhat top-heavy, and both should be "shedding" the top two teams (at least) into AAA play. Naga seems to have at least 3-4 teams that could be competitive for #1 as-is, and a couple of others seem to only be a couple of upgrades away.. Garuda should have four teams (Knights, Cougars, Farmers, and Beatdown) who can compete, and several up-and-comers who might be upgrades away from competing.

Should be interesting here next season.

Nah I wasn't upset at all. #2 in the MVP race averaging 35 plays a game, is pretty note worthy. He makes me proud. MVP or not.

Can't speak for Naga since I don't really know the teams there, but Garuda has some heavy hitters waiting in the wings for next season. The 4 you mentioned are the ones I am referring to also. I think i'll be checking in every once in a while next season to see how it unfolds. Should be some real close games for sure. And i bet there will be a few surprises also.
