Better second AE piece for a RT...

+3 Confidence
+1 Cut Block SA

or

+1 Blocking
+1 Run Blocking

I haven't heard much one way or another about Cut Block to know if it's worth using. Run Blocking is useful, but this useful I don't know. I'd prefer Get Low, but I've searched for too long and just want to choose one of these.

imo, run blocking.

From these, run block. However to me, the value of a get low piece is that you don't need to spend in run block (lol). It makes taking a get low piece without a +1 worthwhile, because you also save SP on run block.

my RG is going experimental and doing something I don't advise on most builds - 2 AEQ on the same spot. He'll have 2-12-0-0-0 next season.

I understand what you are saying Octowned, not wanting to double up on pieces, but I think that some are worth picking up 2 of. Example:

My higher leveled C has 2 LG pieces, I never have to spend SPs on the pass block tree (I did spend 2 in PB early, my mistake). He has no problem pass blocking and it allows me to focus more on his attributes. At level 40 his trees will be:

2-0-0-0-8
3-3-1-1-1 (CE)

Also, my LOT has 2 pieces of Protector

3-1-1-1-9 (CE)
2-2-0-0-0

LG has 2 Foundation

2-0-0-9-0
3-3-1-1-1 (CE)(might move CE to blocking tree)

RG has 2 Pancake (might change these out, but I want to try them, just rolled both this week)

2-0-0-0-0
3-3-1-1-9 (CE)

ROT has Run Block and Get Low. He is also pretty much strength based(96/73/72), gave up 2 sacks this season.

2-0-0-0-0
7-7-1-1-1

(had a big pancake year, but the league was weak)

*all of these trees will be at level 40, assuming my RG has enough tokens to boost (come on...long off season)
**many of the pieces also have attribute bonus'

I think a double piece can be useful if you don't want to spend a lot of SAs on the trees and focus on one specific SA. Now I know these numbers might not be optimal to some, but I prefer to build the attributes (4th cap agility, want to test 3rd cap confidence on my C). Also, I think my LG will be bumping some into Shock Block. From what I have been watching this season it seems to be useful against high agility DTs breaking blocks. My RG and C will also be pumping Run Block and Get Low.

Last comment: with Protector, Line General and Pancake you save double the SPs, think about it boys

Peace

I don't really see why you wouldn't want the run block SA for a ROT.
