all that means is that next season we aa2 alpha is going to be a tough fucking league and you guys might actually win a league title for once, all it took were 3 top teams getting upset in the first round denying them a chance at promotion lol.
There will be more promotions this off-season. so doesn't rule out anything...the world league will pull more teams up. Not sure how many, and that would not be the way we WANTED to move up...
it would be unheard of for 9 teams to be promoted from a single aa league, and thats what place bor is on the pecking order for promotions right now. all 3 of these alpha teams will be back in aa2 next year.
Now promotions will be heavier this season with the world league taking 4 teams from pro, 1 cpu team in pro right now, ...7 teams currently will leave pro league, so should be at least 3 from AAA #1 going up, plus 5 cpus in AAA #1, plus 2 teams for relegation, should be 10 teams from AA #1/2 going up to AAA...~5 from each conference, so that would include BOR. denial is not a stage on the road to recovery, and youre in it buddy. if bottom 2 teams are cpu, like there are in aaa1, it will have no affect on the promotions. not to mention, there are 8 teams in we aa1 that will get promoted before you as well.
put it this way. LITERALLY more than half of we aaa1 would have to be promoted or demoted for burnt orange rising to get promoted. there are eight teams in the 2nd round here, and eight teams in the 2nd round in we aa1 that are ahead of you.
now for reality:
to make a 32 team world league, 4 we pro teams will move up. that will open up 2 spots for we aaa1 teams to move up, in addition to what already would have. lets say 4 normally would have (higher than normal average), and the two extra makes six. right now there are three CPU teams in aaa1 that wouldnt already have been relegated, opening 3 more spots. lets say 3 more teams decide to pack it in this season. that makes 12 spots, to be split unevenly between the two conferences, because by virtue of top alpha teams losing, there will be more we aa1 teams getting promoted this year than we aa2.
based on right now, if 12 spots were open and assuming the top seeds hold serve, it will be promotions in this order:
auto:
manchester divided
heidelberg hitmen
la tourette syndrome
paris gloutons
not auto:
lyon winemakers
mali mystics
windsor nomads
mali mystics
parma panthers
hamburg patriots
københavn hühnerfalken
leavenworth inmates
so bam, that is 12. if more are taken, there are still three we aa2 alpha teams not among those 12 that have priority over you. face it, youre going to be stuck here.
sorry dude, but you blew it.
