I was completely shocked about the outcome. Shoalhaven was rolling up teams all season long, and I don't know how they avoided the early boosters (i.e. those who boosted on Day 1 from Level 1 to Level 4), but to go 16-0 in the regular season shows these guys know their stuff.
With that said, you go 16-0 and get the 1 seed in the playoffs, you get the Target billboard resting on your backs, and smart teams will do what they have to do to win. Our team is part of the Slow Build Discipleship, so we had some debate on whether to boost or not before the playoffs, and we decided since we made it in the playoffs we're going to try to make a run, and that was our only way to stand a chance.
I have to give props to my coordinators for putting together a winning gameplan. In our last meeting with Shoalhaven, we lost by 14 points, and we remembered the plays that killed us in that game and set our players up accordingly. Sure, the boosting didn't hurt, especially considering that Shoalhaven didn't boost, but again we expect most teams to boost before the playoffs at this level, especially considering we're at even levels.
Congrats to the Bandits on their season. I'm sure we'll cross paths again in the future.
you can bet your ass on it but still GG on your part and i look forward to playing you next season
Just so you know, FreeClubAmerica.com will become the Stucknut Triceratops next season. And we may get stuck playing in Level 16 cap instead of Level 13 cap next season. Just so you know where to find us.
