1. African Fever v. 8. Quiçama Park Rangers
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=5285&team2=5287
Runner-up champions from the past 2 seasons coming out of AA#3 these 2 teams havea long history. The Rangers have had a tough first season in AAA, but they do have the #1 passing offense in the league. That said the Fever have been the class of the league and I don't see the rangers changing that.
- Fever Win 40-21
2. Tanzania Lumberjacks v. 7. Pretoria Predators
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=2813&team2=5372
Tanzania has gutted out a lot of close games to pull off the #2 seed having only lost two games all season. Unfortunately for them 1 of those losses is to the Predators only a couple weeks back. The Predators have the #2 ranked rushing offense and the Jacks have the 4th ranked rushing offense. In the previous game the Jacks couldn't stop the Preds rushing FB, while their own rushing game got shot down.
- No prediction on my own game
3. Cape Town Crusaders v. 6. Angola Wave
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=5381&team2=5373
Ironically Cape town like the #2 seed lumberjacks find themselves facing a lower seed that beat them earlier in the season. Cape Town's 3 losses are to the seeds higher then themselves and Angola. Cape Town boasts the leagues 3rd best offense while Angola has middle of the roads rankings they do have one of the highest turnover ratios of any team at +45. Turnovers will probably decide this game as it did their last meeting.
- Cape Town might have been sleeping at the wheel before... but not this time. Cape Town wins 28-17
4. Uganda Headhunters v. 5. Ghana Ashanti Empire
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=2792&team2=5289
Uganda was the favorites last season and were favored to win it all at the start of this season as well. All of Uganda's losses are to top team and usually they were close shootouts. Having just crushed the great and powerful Empire only 2 weeks ago and the fact that eric should be posting this stuff not me (he does a better job).
- Uganda win 50-21
So the 2 and 3 seeds actually lost to their opponents in the regular season. What you guys think?
