Wow, it all comes down to the wire. I figure it this way using head to head as the first tie breaker. I don't know what the second tie breaker is (maybe, total points?).

The Pigs are in.

If the Mambas win, they're in.
If the Rangers win, they're in.
If the Wave wins, they're in.
If the Empire wins, they're in.

If the Rangers lose, then they need Angola to lose.
If the Wave loses, then they'll need both the Predators and Mambas to lose.
If the Empire loses, then they need the Predators and Mambas to lose.

If the Mambas or Predators lose, then they're out.

When two or more teams have the same regular season record, seeding comes down to the following tiebreakers.

To determine the winner of a tie within a Conference the following Tiebreakers go into effect:

1. If there are only 2 teams tied (same record), higher seed is the winner of the head-to-head match up.
2. If there are more than 2 teams tied (same record), then it's based upon these factor in this order:
....1. Number of head-to-head wins against the other tied teams with the same record.
....2. Number of total points scored.
....3. Number of total points allowed.

I'm rooting for the Pretoria Predators... for them to beat the #2 seed and then still miss the playoffs is kinda sad. Probably says something about the competition from 2-10 in the league. Now who is going to upset fever for everyone?

Well, if we win tomorrow, we're in no matter what ... we own the head to head tie breaker with two of the teams above us at 9-6 and they player each other tomorrow ... so the loser of that game basically goes home if we win ... if they tie? we're screwed LOL

Not necessarily. You forgot about the Mambas. If Angola and Rangers lose, then the Predators and Mambas win. You've got Angola (1-2), Rangers (2-1), Predators (1-2), Mambas (2-1)all at 9-7. Only two spots left, so Rangers and Mambas would go.

Empire has the same scenario if they lose. They are (2-1) against Angola, Predators, and Mambas. So Empire and Mambas go.

If the Mambas win, then they're in.

The more I think about it, the Predators are actually eliminated at this point. There's no scenario where they have a 2-1 record in a four way tie. Losses to the Rangers, Mambas, and Empire. Wins against Angola and Pigs.

Games that matter

Pretoria Pigs v. Angola Wave
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=5373
Toss-up? both are 9-6

Ghana Ashanti Empire v. Quiçama Park Rangers
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=5287
Both are 9-6... and a great history of good games between these 2

Niger Mambas v. G-Vegas Pirates
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=2720&team2=2816
Niger Mambas will be heavily favored....

Pretoria Predators v. Bumba Dambala
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=5372&team2=5340
Predators should be heavily favored...

So we should end-up with 4 teams at 9-7

Pretoria Pigs or Angola Wave
Ghana Ashanti Empire or Quiçama Park Rangers
Niger Mambas
Pretoria Predators

So we will end-up with 4 teams going after 2 spots.... with tie breakers

its crazy, mind bending. we, Pigs luckily hold a few tie breakers. The Preds, feared them before the start of the season, man handled us recently, not sure what happened in between, scarey team. Pigs went from 4th 1 week, to 9th the next, then to 5th,, and tomorrow could be 7th, 8th or who knows what,,,, best competition I have seen in ages.

I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!! What the heck is with Ghana Ashanti vs Quicama Park!?!?! THEY ALWAYS PLAY BIG GAMES EVERY SEASON!!! It either comes down to the conference championship game, or a playoff game, or an end of the reg. season game to see who makes the playoffs. Every season since we were in the A leagues they've matched up for a huge game, and they've always been decided by 1 TD or less. It's almost too good to be true. They've got to have the best rivalry in all of GLB. I can't believe yet another season ends with an exciting finish between these two. I can't wait to see the outcome. Good luck to both teams, and what an exciting finish to a competitive conference this is.

Yeah your right, I totally missed the Mambas ... there is no way they lose today

Edit: Wow! Never would have expected some of the scores we saw today! Glad we're in

Good news... scientists have determined through fossils and tree rings that there actually was a lion conference in season 9... still looking into whether or not that exists in season 10 however.

Well, there was their championship season where they beat us by like 50 points both times... and nobody else did that year. But we seem to have found our way against them,as we beat them last season to end up with the title, and just beat them again to go 10-6 in our first AAA season! Go Empire!

3-way tie, all 3 were 1-1 it looks like. You drew the short straw, due to the lowest points scored total I think it is.
