Ok, it's week 13 , and it's getting crunch time!! Weeks 13 and 14 are usually the make or break weeks for the teams looking to solidify or at least make the playoffs. But it's also time that the teams looking for the trophies, make their moves, and week 13 in O AA-2 looks to be one of those weeks!!

The BIG game of the week is without a doubt the top 2 teams in Alpha, Easter Island and the Tricity Cardinals going at it in what promises to be a terrific game, showdown game!!! The two undefeated teams from Alpha will meet head to head, in what may be a pretense of the conference championship game, as both teams are undefeated to this point. Whoever loses this game, will just be the likely underdog in the replay conference championship game, as both teams are 12 and 0 going into this game. Intense gameplanning will go into this game, although deception may play a big part also, as both teams will most likely meet up again in the most important game in the final conference championship. Who's willing to give away their best gameplan? Who's willing to put out a new offense? What's the strategy to make it to the Championship game??!!!

This is "THE" game of the Alpha season, and will make a big difference in the playoff seeds. Good luck guys!!!!!

And in Zeta, another very interesting game takes place, but not quite as interesting maybe.

The AREC takes on the Sydney Flames, the favorite team of Zeta for most of this season, going undefeated 9 games in a row, but losing a close one to the Newcastle Ghosts. Newcastle now holds a nice 2nd position, with Bama trailing Sydney, who comes in third place.

So it's a battle for third or fourth place between Sydney and Bama in the Zeta conference!!!!!

Sydney has done a great job this season going undefeated until they faced the Ghosts a few games ago, but now they meet their toughest part of their schedule. And Bama is going to be their toughest test yet, at least if I have anything to do with it...

Bama has developed a reputation for being weak in the early season, but coming on strong towards the end, so I expect Bama to give Sydney everything they have to offer!! This should be another great game!!!!!

With that being said...good luck as always guys!!!! Let's have some fun!!!!!

Well, after todays results, things are starting to look pretty clear, at least in Alpha!!

The Headhunters delivered a serious beatdown to the the Cardinals!! I'm suprised Tricity didn't put up more of a fight, but who knows, maybe they were holding back. For Tricity's sake, I hope they were holding back, cause they got trounced 85-14!!!

Either way, this soldifies Easter Island as the Alpha conference favorite, and also a team that could go undefeated through the playoffs!!!!

In Zeta, the Red Elephants came from behind after a sluggish first half, to take the third place position in Zeta, in a close 35-26 win against Sydney. Had it not been for a couple of lost fumbles that Bama recovered, Sydney could have taken this one to the house! But the Bama offense came through, took advantage of the turnovers, and came away with the win!!

The Ghosts also came away with the big V against their old foes the iue5 Sorcerers, a team that seems to be losing life, but has still given some great fights this season. The Ghosts have a solid hold on the #2 position, and are playing some great football this season!! There's only one other team that could maybe knock them out of the #2 position, and that game get's played in the season finale against their long time adversaries, the AREC!

Still some good games left in the next few weeks, to see who makes it into the playoffs, and who get's a favorable seed. Good stuff!!!!

Shouldn't be a problem.

Although, it looks like you guys have your hands full up in AAA land, and we certainly have our hands full down here. I think the AA Zeta playoffs are gonna be the most competitive and interesting playoffs in recent seasons, although Bama and Brisbane had some great games in the past playoffs!

Even though Rutgers has pretty much dominated the regular season schedule, we all know it's in the playoffs, when the best teams really show up to play. And between Rutgers, The Ghosts, Bama, Sydney, and Quebec, it's anybody's conference to win. Nothing against the teams below 5th place, but they have suffered some pretty lopsided defeats to the the top 5 teams in Zeta, and they are pretty much considered the underdogs at this point.

But the top 5 teams in Zeta have pretty much played it very close in all their games against each other, although there are a few games left that will put them against each other before the playoffs.

Sydney takes on Rutgers in their 15th game of the season. Rutgers wins this one and they are smooth sailing into the playoffs as the number 1 seed in Zeta. The Ghosts face a very strong Portland Crackers, in their 15th game. Portland also faces Quebec the week before, in what should be a great game, and will affect the playoff seeds.

Bama has Quebec as it's 15th game, which should be a teriffic game, and has lot's of implications on the playoff seeds. Then Bama faces the Ghosts in the season finale. And if Bama and the Ghost's go into that game with the same record, it will be #2 against #3...and as always, will be a great game!!!!

The next few weeks are going to be fun to watch!!!!!!!
