The East conference had two of upsets (a testament to its top heavy balance?) . While the 4/5 game was the only mild upset in the west.

I don't disagree that Chesapeake has all of the advantages you listed. But, those are full season stats, Da Nola has improved remarkably in the later half of the season. Heck, Chesapeake, somehow, was significantly better than the rest of the teams at the start of the season. But 5 or 6 teams have nearly caught up.

West Conference Semi Finals
Waller Knights vs the Florida Free Ballers

What happened last time they met:
Free Ballers won 13-9 (6-3 at half)

Waller outgained Florida by 1 WHOLE Yard but the opportunisitc Florida Defense forced 3 interceptions and had 1 sack and 2 forced fumbles (even though the Knights recovered those fumbles).

Players of the Game for Florida were:
The workhouse HB Antoine Patri who slugged out 80 yards and Ben Vanderpool who had 3 interceptions?!?!?!?! For the Knights the only bright spot was Freaky Toad going 3 for 3 on field goals.


Recap
The lone touchdown of the game came when Florida took the opening kick of the 2nd half and rammed it down Waller's throat on a 12 play drive that included a big 19 yard catch and run By Dirk Diggler. Patri punched it in from the 2 yard line and the Florida defense made the points stick in preserving the win.

It could have been even uglier except Waller held the Free Ballers to only 3 points after spotting them 1st and goal from the 7 earlier in the game.

Waller squandered a chance to tie the game late when it had to settle for 3 points after getting to the Freeballer 5 yard line with a fresh set of downs.

Outlook:

This game is really hard to call. Florida has all the pieces in place for a masterful defense Ends, Tackles, Linebackers and a Ball hawking secondary means that yards (to say nothing of points) will come at a premium.

On Offense the Freeballers rank 5th in total yards rushing and 29th in passing. On Defense they are 4th best in defending the rush and ranked 16th against the pass (probably because teams fall behind and have to abandon the run).

Bet the under on this game and since it is being played at Freeballer stadium, I would take the Ballers -4 to make it to the Western Conference Finals.
